SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT BECOMES EFFECTIVE

The Petition of Internet Technology Group plc ("ITG") seeking the sanction 
of the Court of Session in Edinburgh to the Scheme of Arrangement with 
Concentric Network Corporation ("the Scheme") was heard on Thursday 27 
January 2000. The Court of Session ordered that the Scheme be approved and 
a certified copy of the Interlocutor has been filed with the Registrar of 
Companies in Scotland today. Accordingly the Scheme has become effective in 
accordance with its terms. 

The amount of the Additional Cash Payment is 18.1p per ITG Share.  
Entitlements to Additional Cash Payments will be rounded down to the 
nearest whole number of pence.

The consideration due to shareholders and warrantholders of ITG, including 
certificates for shares in Red Wave plc for which they have subscribed, 
will be despatched within the next 14 days.

It is the intention of ITG to seek the immediate cancellation of the 
listing of its shares on the Alternative Investment Market.
