Conversion of C Shares - Calculation Date 
 
Impax Asian Environmental Markets plc (the "Company") announces that, in 
accordance with the terms described in its prospectus dated 1 October 2010, the 
Manager has notified the Board of Directors that at least 80 per cent. of the 
assets attributable to the C Shareholders are invested in a portfolio of 
securities consistent with the Company's investment policy. As a result, the 
Board has determined that the Calculation Date (for the purposes of calculating 
the basis upon which the Company's C Shares will convert into Ordinary Shares) 
will be the close of business on 30 November 2010. 
 
A further announcement regarding the Conversion Ratio, Conversion Date and the 
number of new Ordinary Shares and Subscription Shares to be issued on Conversion 
will be made in due course.
