Wins landmark Qatar infrastructure project

Hyder Consulting PLC, the multi-national design and engineering consultancy, has today been awarded the General Engineering Consultancy Contract for Doha North by Ashghal, the Public Works Authority of Qatar. The value of this commission is anticipated to be GBP80m over the five year contract.

Hyder will be responsible for undertaking all the consultancy and engineering services for local roads and drainage projects in the northern area of the capital city of Doha, an area of approximately 75 sq km. Services will include the provision of design and site supervision for new roads and drainage networks, as well as the upgrading and rehabilitation of existing networks.
