Espírito Santo Financial Group S.A. announces its intention to cancel the standard listing of its ordinary shares on the official list of the UK Listing Authority and its intention to cancel the admission to trading of such ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange's Regulated Market

London/Luxembourg/Portugal - 7 May 2014 - Espírito Santo Financial Group S.A. ("ESFG") (NYSE Euronext Lisbon: ESF; Bloomberg: ESF PL; Reuters: ESF LS) today announced that it intends to apply to the UK Listing Authority for the cancellation of the standard listing of ESFG's ordinary shares of no par value (the "Shares") on the UK Listing Authority's Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for the cancellation of the admission to trading of the Shares on the London Stock Exchange's regulated market. The ISINs for the Shares are LU0202957089 (registered form) and LU0011904405 (bearer form).

ESFG intends that the listing of the Shares will be cancelled with effect from 8:00 am on 6 June 2014. It is intended that the last trading date in the Shares on the London Stock Exchange's regulated market will be 5 June 2014. The Shares will remain admitted to listing on the Official List of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and NYSE Euronext Lisbon and to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and NYSE Euronext Lisbon's regulated market.
