The Board of Caplay Plc has noted the recent significant decline in the
Company's share price. On the 24 August 2004 the Company announced that Mr
Kenneth Murray had applied to the Court of Appeal for permission to appeal the
court judgment found in favour of Caplay. The Board is not aware of any other
substantive reasons for the share price movement.
