                          JBIC Issues Euro-Dollar Bond
 
              -Thirteenth Issuance in International Capital Market-



1.  Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC; Governor: Kyosuke Shinozawa)
will sign today in London an agreement for the issuance of a fixed rate
Euro-Dollar Bond with Japanese government guarantee.

The terms of issuance were decided on March 9. The issue was sold to prime
international investors mostly in Asia and Europe.



2.  The following are the main features of the issuance:
