The following supplementary prospectus has been approved by the United Kingdom Listing Authority (the "UKLA") and is available for viewing:

Supplementary prospectus dated 23 August 2016 (the "Supplement") to the Base Prospectus dated 11 December 2015 (the "Base Prospectus"), relating to the Programme for the Issuance of Debt Instruments established by Westpac Securities NZ Limited unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Westpac New Zealand Limited. The Supplement incorporates by reference certain sections of Westpac New Zealand Limited's Disclosure Statement for the nine months ended 30 June 2016, namely the unaudited consolidated interim financial statements as at and for the nine-month period ended 30 June 2016 (the "Disclosure Statement").
