Technical Support Alliance Network (TSANet) unveils a new
relationship and pricing model for its members. TSANet provides a
collaborative relationship infrastructure that allows members to
work with other members to isolate and/or resolve mutual customer,
multivendor problems. The organization also announces a new
leadership team after its annual officer elections.
The new model categorizes members into Basic and Premium levels.
Corresponding many-to-many group relationships have been
established at the Basic (Business Hour Response) and Premium
(Mission Critical) levels. The new programs allow members to join a
single relationship while establishing multiple relationships with
multiple partners, or creating one-to-one relationships or custom
group relationships to meet customer needs. The re-structure of the
member pricing model now aligns with the new Basic and Premium
levels and will further allow members to position TSANet with
partners at reduced costs.
The board elected new officers at the Board of Directors and
Annual Members Meeting held last week in San Diego. Serving
one-year terms, the new officers are Rainer Zielonka (IBM),
Chairman; Jill Scola (EMC), Vice-Chair; Robert Poston (Microsoft),
Secretary; and Pam Fowler (Ingres), Treasurer. Together, the
officers form the executive committee, which monitors the
strategic, operational and overall business of the
organization.
"TSANet has tackled several major challenges over the past
couple of years, including globalizing the network and establishing
a new relationship and pricing model," said Dennis Smeltzer, TSANet
president. "TSANet has always been a member-driven organization,
and the recent changes provide our members a wider range of options
enabling increased utilization of the network resulting in improved
cooperative support to their customers," he concluded.
