The Chief Operating Officer of Pediatric Prosthetics, Inc.
(OTCBB:PDPR), Kenneth Bean, delivers his own "State Of The Union"
message. My fellow stock owners: Several among you have asked me to
dispense with generalities, and instead get down to the cardinal
business numbers. In responding, I will utilize bullets for
brevity. One single number, the number "120," sets our company
apart from virtually every other public company in America. The
number represents our achieved patient-base of children in their
rapid growth years. Their annual re-fittings will provide us
positive cash flow and earnings for seven to ten years into the
future. Since October 1st, due to our increased family outreach
budget, we have added 29 new children to our patient-base, 11 of
which we have already fitted. (We added approximately the same
number of new children to our patient-base during ALL of fiscal
07.) We are comfortable projecting first-time fittings for seven to
ten of these new children each month until we can ramp up our
outreach efforts even further, and of course we will be continuing
to re-fit our existing patients. Our monthly cash fixed overhead,
as a compliant SEC fully reporting public company, is approximately
$65,000, which translates to about 8 fittings per month, which
covers our nut. OK, please do the math. Ten to twelve fittings
per month as we have been doing and ramping up to 15 to 18 fittings
per month as we expect to be doing by mid-summer. I would remind
our investors that the convertible debt, originating in June, 2006,
has to date resulted in about 8.8 million shares equity dilution.
To date, the funding source has only diluted the Company about 8%,
and in the process, we have been using their cash for a year and a
half! The majority of that borrowed money was earmarked for family
outreach, (marketing & advertising), and national
infrastructure development and training. In the actual event, far
too much of the cash was spent on legal and accounting fees
generated during the course of our move toward fully reporting
status. The comments period following our filing of our original
10SB Registration lasted 16 months, with our accountants, auditors,
and attorney working in diligent concert with company management.
So....I was finally able to keep my word to our stockholders last
Spring, and thank God, all of that is in the rear view mirror now.
Beginning in August we could finally begin to turn our full
attention back to finding and fitting kids. We, here at the
Company, are going to persevere, and press on. We hope to greet
each of you in the winner's circle. Please put away all of your
"Surefire Investment How To manuals. This little company will be
the unique investment in your lifetime. Somewhere along here, we
believe were finally going to be recognized as a genuine "growth"
company, with a P/E (price/earnings) multiple, which is what we
dedicated ourselves to being from the start. If so, those who have
taken the opportunity to average down these last months, stand to
do very well as our stock inevitably rebounds right back up that
same staircase. As we continue on track to earn a penny per share
over the next twelve months, and confident in the annual redoubling
of earnings effect in our business niche, the only question is who
precisely will figure it out first and profit the most. About
Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. is the
national provider of specialized pediatric prosthetics for both
upper and lower limbs. The Companys CEO Linda Putback-Bean
pioneered fitting state-of-the-art myoelectric upper extremity
prostheses for the pediatric niche market. In the absence of a hand
or arm, a child's brain still continues sending signals to grasp or
open the hand in the residual limb. Myoelectric sensors can read
those signals through the skin, (requiring no surgery), and with a
computer chip can magnify those signals many fold to actuate a tiny
powerful motor to accomplish tasks with the life-like hand. In
2003, Ms. Putback-Bean founded Pediatric Prosthetics to create a
comprehensive organization that connects parents and their children
with a limb loss, to expert pediatric prosthetic fitting,
rehabilitation, and life-long care. As a result, Pediatric
Prosthetics expects to increase the quality of life for patients
and their families nationwide. For more information, please visit
