CPVC FINANCIAL CORPORATION (the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:LHB) announces that
the Corporation has met the requirements for a Tier 1 company on the TSX Venture
Exchange Inc. ("TSXV") and effective June 11, 2008 its classification changed
from Tier 2 to Tier 1. In accordance with the terms of the Corporation's CPC
Escrow Agreement dated June 9, 2004 all of the remaining shares held in escrow
under that agreement will be released upon the issuance of this press release.
In respect of the Corporation's Form 5D Escrow Agreement dated November 7, 2006
all of the remaining shares held in escrow under that agreement will be released
on June 15, 2008.
