CALGARY, Sept. 2, 2014 /CNW/ - DualEx Energy International
Inc. ("DualEx" or the "Company") (TSX-V: "DXE") today announced the
appointment of Mr. Robb Thompson to
its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Thompson is a
Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years of diverse experience,
including being a partner at KPMG LLP and holding several senior
management positions in the oil and gas sector, and will chair the
Company's Audit Committee.
"Robb brings a substantial set of skills and expertise to our
board, with broad experience in the oil and gas industry, in
particular the accounting, regulatory and financial reporting
requirements of junior public companies, both domestic and
international, and further increases the board's independence,"
said DualEx President & CEO Garry
Hides.
Subject to regulatory approval, an aggregate of 1,050,000
options to acquire common shares of DualEx were granted to Mr.
Thompson and certain of the Company's other directors and
officers. The options have an exercise price of $0.23 per share, expire on September 2, 2019 and vest on a one-third (1/3)
basis on each of the first, second and third anniversaries of the
date of grant.
DualEx has determined that exemptions from the various
requirements of TSX Venture Exchange Policy 5.9 are available for
the grant of options.
