                          Hemscott plc (the "Company")

                           Notification of Interests

The Company was notified on 24 November 2003 of the following notification of
major interests in its ordinary shares of 5p each ("Ordinary Shares"):

Due to the conversion of unit trusts to collective investment funds ("ICVC"),
INVESCO Perpetual UK Smaller Companies Growth Fund (which did have 1,228,860
Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Vidacos Nominees Limited representing
3.82 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital), no longer holds a
notifiable interest in the ordinary share capital of the company. The total
holding following this notification has not been disclosed.

Due to the conversion of unit trusts to ICVCs, AMVESCAP plc no longer holds a
notifiable interest in the ordinary share capital of the company. The total
holding following this notification has not been disclosed.

INVESCO English and International Trust plc, registered in the name of Chase
Nominees Limited, now holds 1,816,628 Ordinary Shares (representing 5.65 per
cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital).
