On July 25, 2024, the Registrant announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.34375 per share on the Company’s 5.50% Fixed-Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A, payable on August 15, 2024 to holders of record as of August 8, 2024. The text of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. Exhibit 99.1 to this report is being “furnished” to the SEC and shall not be deemed “filed” for any purpose.

Hauppauge, NY – July 25, 2024 – Dime Community Bancshares, Inc. (Nasdaq: DCOM, DCOMP and DCOMG) (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.34375 per share on the Company’s 5.50% Fixed-Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A, payable on August 15, 2024 to holders of record as of August 8, 2024.
