RE:                         MAURITANIA DRILLING UPDATE

Hardman Resources Limited ("Hardman") provides the following update on its
exploration drilling operations:

         Mauritania: Exploration Drilling Update - Flamant-1 (Block 8)

Since the company's last report on 26 September 2006, the Atwood Hunter drilling
rig has completed plug and abandonment of the Flamant -1 well in Block 8 and was
released on Monday 2nd October to the Block 7 Joint Venture.

As at 6:00am on 3 October, anchors were being run at the Aigrette -1 exploration
well location in Block 7 preparatory to spudding the well.

Equities in Block 8 and 7 are:
