Notice under Section 198 Companies Act 1985 (as amended)(the "Act")

We hereby notify you of the interests in the ordinary shares of 10p each
("Ordinary Shares") of Moorfield Group plc of EFG Reads Trustees Limited, Mr
Peter Frances Edward Newbald and Mr Brian John Pierce as trustees (the
"Trustees"), of a discretionary trust which we administer.

At the time of writing, the Trustees beneficially own 4,840,000 Ordinary Shares,
the registered holders of which are EFG Reads Trustees Limited A/C 6580.
