                      Appointment of joint administrators                      
                            Cancellation of listing                            

On 30 November 2008 the directors of the Company announced that they had
appointed Margaret Mills, Thomas Burton, Thomas Jack and Simon Allport, all of
Ernst and Young LLP (the Joint Administrators), as joint administrators of the
Company.

A request has been made to the UK Listing Authority today that the listing of
the Company's ordinary shares on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority
and the admission of its ordinary shares to trading on the main market for
listed securities of the London Stock Exchange plc be cancelled. These
cancellations are expected to take effect at 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday 9 December
2008.
