Issue of Equity

The Directors of Electra Kingsway VCT 3 plc are pleased to announce allotments
between 28 February 2006 and 21 March 2006 of 11,487,174 ordinary shares of 1p
each ("Ordinary Shares"),  payable at 100p per share, pursuant to the Offer for
Subscription that opened on 14 October 2005 ("the Offer").

Within the allotment on 14 March 2006, David Hurst-Brown, a Director, was
allotted 25,750 Ordinary Shares at a price of #1 per share, representing 0.13%
of the issued share capital.

Within the allotment on 21 March 2006, Stuart Stradling, a Director, was
allotted 51,500 Ordinary Shares at a price of #1 per share, representing 0.27%
of the issued share capital.

Application will be made at the earliest practicable opportunity for these
shares, which will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be admitted
to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London
Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.

The current issued share capital of the Company is now 19,257,111 Ordinary
Shares.

The Offer is expected to remain open until 5 April 2006 unless fully subscribed
earlier.
