Dev Property Development plc (the "Company") announces that it received
notification today in a letter dated 6 December 2007 that in accordance with DTR
5 of the Transparency Obligations Directive (Disclosure and Transparency Rules)
Instrument 2006, HSBC Investments (Singapore) Limited has a notifiable interest
in 6,969,081 shares of the Company, representing 5.05% of the Company's issued
share capital. This follows recent purchases of 2,350,000 shares at prices of
between 71.4 pence and 74 pence per share.
