                          Admission of shares to Trading


D1 Oils plc ("the Company") announces that pursuant to the exercise of options
under the D1 Oils Share Option Plan, it has allotted 78,125 Ordinary Shares of
1p each in the Company. These shares rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing issued Ordinary Shares in the Company. Application has been made to the
London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to AIM and it is expected
that dealings will commence on 16 October 2007.
