McLeod Russel Holdings plc announces that it was today informed that Advance
Value Realisation Company sold 2,241,911 shares in the Company on 16 July 2003.
Following this disposal, Advance Value Realisation Company no longer has an
interest in the issued share capital of the Company.

McLeod Russel Holdings plc also announces that it was today informed that Mr
Ellis Bor is beneficially interested in 7,225,000 shares in the Company
representing approximately 13.86 per cent. of the issued share capital.
