E.L.A.N. Limited Series 2007-5

JPY1,000,000,000 Secured Floating Rate Notes due August 2017

ISIN: XS0307424514 (the "Notes")

Terms defined in the terms and conditions of the Notes shall have the same meaning in this notice.

Further to the notice given on 26 July 2017 in respect of the occurrence of an Underlying Disposal Event pursuant to Condition 7(b)(i)(a) of the Notes.

The Notes will be redeemed on the Early Redemption Date in accordance with the provisions of Condition 7(b)(i) (Underlying Disposal Event) of the Notes.

We inform Noteholders that the Determination Agent made a request for firm bids in respect of the Underlying Assets from five bidders on 2 August 2017. As of close of business on Friday 4 August 2017, the Determination Agent has received no firm bids on the Underlying Assets. Pursuant to Condition 7(1) (Sales Procedure) of the Notes the sale price of the Underlying Assets is therefore deemed to be zero.

We hereby give notice that the Notes will redeem on Monday 14 August 2017 and that the amount payable in respect of each Note shall be zero.
