Reporters invited to experience VR simulation training and other smart technologies revolutionizing policing in Canada 

VICTORIA, BC, May 24, 2024 /CNW/ - Media are invited for a peak behind the badge at Axon's Western Canada roadshow, where the latest smart technologies in public safety will be on display. Reporters will have a chance to don VR headsets and be immersed in real-world scenarios used to train police officers in a controlled environment. They will learn de-escalation techniques and practise split-second decision making in the high-stress simulated scenario of real field work.

The roadshow is an opportunity to learn about the latest AI revolutionizing law-enforcement in Canada, including:

  • Body cameras, currently being rolled out by police across the province and country;
  • Draft One, a software product that drafts high-quality police reports in seconds based on auto-transcribed body-worn camera audio;

The 2024 Roadshow event will provide on-site product demonstrations to educate and train police officers and will feature various new innovative technologies, including:
