OXFORD, Conn., Oct. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Go Green
Global Technologies (OTC: GOGR) recently collaborated with
Cooke Trucking and Piedmont Peterbilt of North Carolina to validate the efficacy of the
Sonical™ device. Due to the differences between European and
USA diesel, the company decided to
conduct a field trial in the USA. The test vehicle achieved
an overall 8% improvement in fuel economy. The 2014 Peterbilt
was driven over 35,000 miles during 8 weeks while utilizing
roadside diesel stations. The vehicle was subjected to a
variety of routes and load variances and consistently surpassed an
unprecedented 8 miles per gallon.
"Lots of companies have approached us over the years to test all
sorts of stuff," said Rusty York, Fleet Manager at Cooke Trucking,
"Nothing has worked as promised. This is the first time we see
something that performs better than expected."
"These trucks are equipped with 'Smartway' compliance and will
average over 7 miles per gallon. To come in at 8 MPG or
higher is surprising. Nothing has been modified on our equipment.
This product is a no-brainer," commented Robbie Atkins of Piedmont Peterbilt.
"This exceeds our European field data which has shown an average
improvement of 3% to 7%," said
Go Green's COO Paul Murdock. "We are grateful to Cooke Trucking
and Piedmont Peterbilt for all the detailed data they supplied. The
Sonical™ is the only device available that can consistently
deliver these results. We improve the fuel without modifying the
engine or reducing horsepower."
In addition to the reduction in fuel usage the improved
combustion reduces emissions by over 30%. This combination of
improved emissions and reduced fuel usage eliminated over 40,000
lbs. of CO2 during the 8-week trial.
