(NYSE: FIGS) (the “Company”), the global leading healthcare apparel brand dedicated to improving the lives of healthcare professionals, today released its first quarter 2026 financial results and published a financial highlights presentation on its investor relations website at ir.wearfigs.com/financials/quarterly-results/. First Quarter 2026 Financial Highlights Net revenues were $159.9 million, an increase of 28.0% year over year, primarily due to an increase in orders from new and existing customers and higher average order value (“AOV”).(1) Scrubwear net revenues were $126.6 million, an increase of 27.2% year over year. Non-scrubwear net revenues were $33.3 million, an increase of 31.3% year over year. U.S. net revenues were $131.6 million, an increase of 24.1% year over year. International net revenues were $28.3 million, an increase of 49.9% year over year. Gross margin was 67.7%, an increase of 10 basis points year over year, primarily reflecting the positive impacts from pricing and our ongoing efficiency efforts, largely offset by higher tariffs and product mix shift. Operating expenses were $103.8 million, an increase of 22.6% year over year. As a percentage of net revenues, operating expenses decreased to 64.9% from 67.8% in the same period last year, primarily due to fixed cost leverage, lower stock-based compensation expense, and lower fulfillment and shipping expenses, partially offset by higher marketing expenses related to our 2026 Winter Olympics campaign. Net income was $6.3 million, or $0.03 in diluted earnings per share, compared to net loss of $(0.1) million, or $(0.00) in diluted earnings per share, in the same period last year. Net income (loss) margin(2) was 3.9%, as compared to (0.1)% in the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA(3) was $13.9 million, an increase of $4.7 million year over year. AOV(1) was $124, an increase of 4.2% year over year, primarily driven by higher average unit retail due to pricing and favorable product mix. Bipartisan legislation sponsored by Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) and Rep. Steven Horsford (D-NV) recognizes healthcare professionals for their extraordinary sacrifices and addresses understaffing and burnout


FIGS, Inc. (NYSE: FIGS), the global leading healthcare apparel brand, announced the introduction of the Healthcare is Human Act, a milestone bipartisan bill sponsored by Representatives Claudia Tenney (R-NY) and Steven Horsford (D-NV). Developed in partnership with FIGS, the Tenney-Horsford legislation provides a federal tax credit of up to $6,000 per year to healthcare professionals serving communities most impacted by shortages — directly addressing low pay as a driver of burnout, turnover, and dangerous understaffing across the healthcare workforce.


The Healthcare is Human Act is designed to solve a critical problem facing the healthcare workforce. According to the federal Health Services and Resources Administration’s most recent report, more than 8,200 primary care, 7,200 dental, and 6,600 mental health shortage areas exist nationwide in rural and urban communities alike. To address these shortages, the nation needs to significantly increase the size of the healthcare workforce. This legislation provides a well-deserved financial reward to help retain the Awesome Humans who are currently working in these communities and an incentive to others to join them. Implementing this important legislation will ultimately lead to communities across the country receiving the care they deserve.


The bill introduction builds on momentum from FIGS’ Awesome Humans on the Hill advocacy day in June 2025, when 18 healthcare professionals joined actor Noah Wyle and his mother Marty Wyle (a nurse of 50 years) on Capitol Hill to call for bold action on fair pay and other critical healthcare workforce issues. Today’s introduction shows that their voices were heard.

What the bill does:



Creates a nonrefundable federal income tax credit of up to $500 per month for healthcare professionals with annual income of under $200,000 (or $400,000 for joint filers/surviving spouses).



Generally applies to licensed healthcare professionals providing at least 80 hours per month of care for at least 8 months of the year in a qualifying facility.



Qualifying facilities must be enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid and located in a federally designated Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA), or be a Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility.

There aren't many investors with a 20-year time horizon at the age of 79, but that's exactly how far billionaire investor Ron Baron is looking ahead, and it's safe to say he's optimistic about what's to come.

"I am incredibly bullish for my children, for my grandchildren and for me for the next 20 years," Baron said Thursday on CNBC's "Squawk Box."

Baron's Thesis: Baron told CNBC that from the year 0 to the year 1500, the size of the economy and the amount of people doubled. Following the Industrial Revolution around 1800, the economy went up by a factor of 100 over the next 200 years.

"Over the last 50 years, the growth is accelerating. And it's going to accelerate even further because now you have the digitization of everything taking place," Baron said.

What Baron Is Buying: The longtime Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) bull's most recent purchases include an additional $100 million investment in Elon Musk's SpaceX and an investment in healthcare apparel company FIGS Inc (NYSE: FIGS).
