Were there a functioning SEC, you would not have those types of problems. As it is, all such incidents prove the SEC is now worthless to the trading public and that fact especially vivid to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac shareholders.

The MM's don't need to sell any shares below the ask or above the bid. As a general rule, the MM's will take any difference for themselves. This was very odd - on rare occasions, maybe, but this frequently with a wall on the ask? No way...and I have been trading for a very long time.
