NTL Incorporated (NASDAQ:NTLI) today announces that the Board of Directors of the Company has approved the payment of a quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per share of the Company's Common Stock. The first payment will be made on June 20, 2006 to stockholders of record as of June 12, 2006. Jim Mooney, Chairman of NTL said, "We are pleased to announce NTL's initiation of a regular quarterly dividend. While NTL intends to pay regular quarterly dividends pursuant to its new dividend policy, all subsequent dividends will be declared by the NTL Board of Directors at its discretion. Future dividend payments and their amounts will take into account future needs and uses of free cash flow, which could include investments in operations, the repayment of debt, and share repurchase programs, among other uses.
