OK I was dead wrong about Denner being an ally just because he invested $100 million, and I deserve any scorn from those who tried to warn us about voting Blue. Clearly he views this as a zero sum game and we are the losers in that scenario.

Now I will have 5k shares at $7-8 and have to see it climb all the way to $45 to break even, which seems impossible. Not to mention Denner will likely dilute at $8 and drive the stock back down to who knows where.

Barring a miracle it looks like my reward for being a loyal shareholder is to get pennies on the dollar when Denner takes the company private, and then sells it after booting us all out.

Dark days indeed my friends.

Caddiedad, my main reason for posting those numbers was to get a response relative to a potential sell price of $100/sh which represents a $2B sell. If/When Amarin clears some of the hurdles i.e., legal issues, improved sales in EU, France approval, new product, AG, does the group believe a $2B sell is possible. It seems that Sarissa could have initiated a fire sell for $5 / sh before the ratio adjustment so I'm hopeful we can improve on that. $100/ share +. I was just looking for some thoughts on this.

And the more extreme case of that is called channel stuffing. The CEO of ArthroCare got 20 year prison sentence for inflating revenue by making sweet deals with distributors to take product in exchange for discounts and ability to sell back later.
Obviously that is not the case here but was trying to illustrate my point

JRoon, revenue from s booked when drug is shipped to a distributor (in the US it’s McKesson, Cardinal and ABC) and not when customer picks up the script from a pharmacy. Prior to launch, manufacturers will ship a few weeks of inventory into the distribution to make sure there is enough product to meet demand. So for example if you know you will start getting scripts in a country, you may ship an amount in excess of actual demand causing some short term spikes. This usually washes out longer term. So I am just speculating that the Q3 4.3 million was a bit of additional sales into the channel. Just an educated guess and can’t be 100% sure.

I am hoping that we are part of the small subset of companies who endured a RS and had their stock rise eventually. I mean as many here have pointed out, the current market cap grossly undervalues the current financial situation and can only be deemed accurate if one believes that EU revenue will not in the foreseeable future make up any U.S. sales losses. BUT, for me, that is the one thing that can really turn the market's view on this. If Amarin can somehow gain traction in the EU it is a whole new ballgame. Of course, there is also the legal front here in the U.S. You have been very diligent in keeping up to date on those developments.

Maybe Capt's speculation that there may be a deal brewing with NVS or others materializes. It would make things a lot easier, but I suppose not as potentially profitable for those here thinking and looking for greater rewards. But they have to remember with that longer road come greater risks.

Interesting.......I was driving exactly 60 miles each way to work and back for 15 years prior to Covid...... I've been remote for a couple years now.....I live out in the country so the technical jobs are closer to the city and that's where the money is. So I opted for lower cost housing but the penalty is a long commute. If this damn investment would pay off, I'd join the ranks of the retired. C'mon AMRN

I'm always attempting to run numbers and determine the why's and what ifs. In reviewing the captain (AD) of this seemingly rudderless ship, I used a number of ~33M shares that Sarissa owns. The scenario is what if he sold those shares at $5, he would have $165,000,000. After the 'ratio' adjustment Sarissa will own 1,650,000 shares of Amarin. To yield the same $165,000,000 the SP would have to go to $100 / share. Post ratio adjust his new CB will be $31.60 versus his current $1.58 CB.
I welcome any comments on these numbers and potential SP if ............................ the opportunities turn positive.

Last time I bt shares was when they announced the share buyback .
I sold this shares when the CFO Reilly left to pursue other opportunities . I lost $ on that sale .
CFO leaving to pursue other opportunities is usually a huge red flag for me ...and I typically sell if that happens ...mentioned several times on this board .

What would get me to buy AMRN here ? If they signed up for a small trial like NVS is running in Germany for Inclisiran / Leqvivo ...its the V-INCEPTION trial
Trials runs about 20 mths ..long enough to see a stat sig difference in event lines ( as per R-IT data ) .
I'd buy it just as a spec .

Thinking about the Q/Q decline in Europe revenue (Q3 to Q4), I wonder if some of the Q3 revenue was due to ex-factory sales in preparation for launch in Austria and a couple of other markets that got approvals/reimbursement. Normally that should be in equilibrium with demand over the longer term but at launch they may have build up some inventory in the channel. Just a thought. We will see in Q1…

Exactly. Maybe now we can finally take away all those crop subsidies that our midwest farmers receive for growing corn, wheat, soybean, etc. that has made processed foods so cheap to manufacture. Then we can give those subsidies to the growers in California that grow fresh tomatoes, lettuce, fruit, and other vegetables.

Regarding Q3(assuming that is 7/1--9/30 2024), that is when Amarin lost the CVS/Caremark account, losing the supply contract and formulary position to the generics like Hikma and Dr. Reddy. My insurance company, 7/1, had sold its Vascepa coverage business. I wound up paying > $1000 for a 3-month refill for Vascepa rather than the Dr. Reddy formulation then on CVS shelves. My standard DAW scrip for Vascepa from my PCP "somehow had been erased" from CVS pharmacy computer files, and I was given a Dr. Reddy product instead(3 bottles of capsules wrapped in a stapled brown paper bag). I returned 2 bottles of Dr. Reddy product, kept 1 bottle with label and encapsulated product for later use as evidence of collusive healthcare fraud.

 I later refilled a new DAW scrip for Vascepa, still at a much higher comparative price than the co-pay price of $9-15 I had paid for years prior to 7/1/2024.

The physical evidence, capsules, receipts, etc., will be sent FTC Chair Ferguson and/or Attorney General this coming week, along with photocopy pages from our shareholder Petition for Writ of Certiorari in the Nevada Hikma/DRL matter, 7/1/2024 letter from insurance company, copy of CAFC opinion reversing D.Delaware judge  in Hikma v. Amarin, and other evidence.

The FTC chair, even this morning when interviewed by a CNBC reporter, has made it clear he intends to use his resources to protect the American population from collusive fraud, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. H and DRL do not belong as competitors in any aspect of Amarin's high triglycerides or CVD businesses, IMO. Their products should be banned from distribution and sale.

Lizzy ...I think you have the wrong Tom Reilly . The Tom Reilly from AMRN signed up to be the CFO of a small Australian biotech who are developing a product to make Eylea ( an eye drug / injection ) last longer .
The Aussie Co wants to be listed in the US and I think he was hired to help facilitate that .

Hey Ram; hanging in there I see. Yes, can you imagine American food being safe to eat all over the globe? Why not, Mexico and Canada have better/ safer foods than we do. Combine that with V and we have the Perfect Storm. I would always shop in Mexican Grocery store because I knew what I was buying. But, I would always read the labels. I think it's a timing thing but I also expect scripts in the US for brand to decrease until something changes to drive promotion again.

Ram, it was the substantial increase in U.S. Q4 revenue vs. Q3, with lower script count that we are trying to reconcile. Q4 was almost 50% higher than Q3, if my math is correct. But the $$ increase from Q3 to Q4 was almost identical to the $$ decrease from Q2 to Q3 (~$13.5M).

It just makes me think that there were fewer weeks in Q3 and extra weeks in Q4. I was wondering if it's just possible that there are timing differences in when they recognized revenue.

I don't disagree Zip, if unable to find a buyer. Just disappointed that we heard nothing about it yesterday. Everything with Amarin seems to be down the road.

Rose...I agree that a BP buy out would be preferable...but if no reasonable BO offer appears, this could be a back up strategy...I believe a relatively short study on the new formulation of EPA would be successful....and a win would be great for everyone.

Not surprised at all. JRoon and I are just questioning the nonsensical (obviously there is something we don't know or understand) qtr to qtr sales figures for the US.

Why would we be surprised at US sales dropping Y/Y? We don't do any level of promotion in the US...... it's not worth the expense when .50 cents of every new dollar would go to the generics.

And the difference in revenue seems more than just a week here and there. I mean 50% higher revenue from Q3 to Q4. If something like that was real and explained you would think the stock would have shot up 25% at least.

RMB, I suspect that there is some inconsistency in the reporting of script counts from Symphony (in terms of timing).

But I still can't understand the revenue splits from quarter to quarter. I can only assume a timing discrepancy in terms of what weeks are included in each quarter.
