Further to the offer announcement on 21 July 2011 regarding the above transaction, the Board of Indian Energy wishes to clarify that the Court Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting will be held on 5 September 2011 and not 2 September 2011 as notified in the 21 July announcement. The meeting dates were correctly set out in the Scheme document sent to shareholders on 10 August 2011.
