Clydeport plc (''the Company") announces that it is listing a further 263,076
Ordinary Shares pursuant to a block listing and a further 439,064 Ordinary
Shares in connection with the share acquisition by QUEST previously announced
by the Company on 11 January 2000.  Application has been made to the London
Stock Exchange for permission to trade these shares on the Official List and
it is expected that permission will be granted from Friday 25 February 2000.
