                       Ladder maintenance contract signed




The Company is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, AS Fire &
Rescue Equipment Limited, has won a contract valued in excess of #0.5 million.
The contract, which will commence on the 31st July 2006, is to maintain and test
more than 160 vehicle ladder sets on a UK Fire Brigade's appliances for the next
five years.



Tony O'Neill, Chief Executive of the Asfare Group said: "Following on from our
recent record breaking equipment order win, this contract is further evidence
that AS Fire is leading the field in the supply of certain specialist fire
appliance equipment. AS Fire's premium range ladders are unique for their
ability to be repaired and this feature has facilitated the first long term
maintenance contract of its kind."
