ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas New (BOIL)

With energy being the crux of a new war in the middle east BOIL is a very strange financial derivative that serves only a few imo.

Warmer temps coming, may key on kold, demand is going to slow for natural gas

Sold friday went into kold this am $$$$$

Obviously Nat Gas broke out into the 4+ area I was just lamenting about yesterday, except that it went well above it into a new stratosphere!! Next question is how over bought becomes the right time to go into KOLD yet. It's a falling knife currently.
Today 14s so far for new lows... Crazy

Rotating into KOLD when or if nat gas March contract hits near 4.00 area should be best anticipatory timing. It's close now at low 3.90s today. Once the latest storm freeze of production is priced into the market and any warmer weather shows by mid February using the NOAA 8-14 day outlook forecast, KOLD will be a huge gainer.

KOLD currently at 17s hitting new lows today so far... while BOLD currently at 33 area hitting new highs today so far

Bought back in @26.90 and sold @32.00 for some good gains while I had a snow day off from work. Watching Kold like a hawk! NE is very cold while we got 18"+ and expecting colder temperatures in the next up coming week! Wait for Kold my friends! 

Start scaling into or switching into KOLD, the opposite instead. Especially by around March

Sold my shares ave of 32.90. This one is too high maintenance so probably won't play it again. Hope it hits 40 for those still holding. Weather will be BBBRRRR for a while. GLTA

Finally out at a nice profit today at 28 area on this 2nd exit after a tough hold this time around the past 3+ weeks being down. Averaged down again when it hit teens for an avg cost of 21-23 for those following me privately on email (after we rode that last awesome move with partial shares sold on December 5 that day it hit 46).

This latest hold this month before this huge move up this week was painful, but finally ended up at a good profit. It wasn't the best timed for this trade, but sometimes it happens.

Interesting play here. Mild December, January and February might not be so nice.

Yeah, I got some 24s yesterday. Now I have an average at mid 25 area along with private followers. From here it's likely gonna be a very volatile ride until around January when I see this thing returning towards 40+ again.
We most likely saw 24 as low on BOIL, but still too early to declare it established for certain. The weather needs to trend forecast Colder again. It should at some point

It's the gift that keeps on giving. Low bid in the high 22's for a third bite of this apple. It's a lucky number for me.

News just came out on the bill advancing the building of data centers. House voted to move it forward and the next vote is later this week. They expect it to pass with bipartisan approval. Can't find a link to post yet.

$BOIL ~ Bought at 27.06 at end of day. This adds to the position my private followers already have from the 26-27 area average cost since October. We sold approx half at 44-46 last Friday December 12 because my strategy has been that I want to be long this in terms of trend going into December - January.
In hindsight this time I wish we would've sold all given the hard to predict and unusual stiff drop over the past 5 trading days, but anyhow we're doing well in any event, and will be holding and accumulating on any continued dips in the short term.

My 40+ area speculation came true & I maintain this has a good chance to break into 50+ this winter by January approx. Nat Gas likely to retest upper 5 area and Into 6+ in my opinion.

Back in with a small trading position. Seems like an excessive drop but I'm often early.

Still see this likely hitting 50+ area around this month after hitting 46 new high today, but anyone should expect volatility and correlating pullbacks in the interim short term along the way.
Scaled out some today, but holding rest for much higher.

Scaling out some today is prudent after hitting 46 new high, but certainly am holding a good remaining amount with my private followers for more towards 50+ given cold weather forecasts yet and that it's still early December. We're in really low at 26-27 average cost, so we can handle volatility at these upper ranges far above cost.
I expect volatility and shorter term pullbacks of course as nat gas today hits major technical milestones, but anticipate another leg upwards eventually fairly soon.

Sold. Still think it could go higher but this move was sweet. GLTA

As I've been saying since early November, expect a lot of volatility with BOIL which likely will include pullbacks around now and in December while waiting for 40s or more yet. A pull back towards 38 or less is not much from here to cite your question, so it likely is happening as part of normal volatility while it's on a bullish trend yet

Nice call ,Think she keeps going or pulls back to 38.50 area first ,more cold weather coming in and Technicals look good but way overbought , sold 39.21for a pull back but forgot to check the weather .keep expecting technicals to change suddenly , nerve racking hehehe

last year? An arctic front made it all the way to Texas ,stupid wind mills frozen and power was out for 10 days ,my family and friends bought BOIL days before when we saw it coming,made great $ on that play,every year a few deep into heartland fronts are good safe plays

This will have a lot of volatile short term swings week to week which is normal this time of year until it peaks in Winter (December - January approx) timeframe, & should eventually trend towards a nice gain near 40+ or much more

The first push of cold air (below freezing) is coming Saturday in Minnesota snow in forecast 1-3inches ,Sunday-Monday 22deg low,high only 33-35 ,cold has begun

It's been Way Oversold since October a couple weeks ago, having the market pricing in most likely the worst with supplies in the short term even if colder weather forecasts don't play out perfectly early on

Yes, BOIL should be a worthwhile hold for next few weeks as a winter season trade after recent lows of 24 area.
Been buying since October 16 on dips. Got approx 26.75 average here with my followers
