$BRZU Annotated chart - Brazil Bull 3X -

I didn't specifically play the BRZU run this time, but over the last few days I've played various Brazil components (and some mentioned here already in prior post).
BBD played since Monday near 8.80 (was at that price Friday thru early Monday) & now close to 10 area on 4th day up at 12% gain for me.
Playing still OIBR on a huge rally the last 2 days with solid 21% gain already from about 1.60 (now 1.94 on strong close), and...
also got into GOL today, the 3rd of my three I think is poised for higher in a few days.

Also have other unrelated stocks I'm playing in process of gapping upward, too (see post history).

It seemed the dollar and oil were the heavy players last round and while they still are, I have been reading a lot of bad news coming out of Brazil in general. Didn't realize their economy was in such a bad state.

Finally may be setting up for 3's if it drops a couple more days.

It was/is primarily about the surprise reaction to the Fed meeting today. Otherwise if Oil would've crashed, this BRZU would be at new lows.
That said, I've been more focused on crude oil (UWTI), etc.
But good for you for being able to make $$$$.

Oil dropping tonight before Monday in USA. If continues, it should pressure Brazil (PBR-EWZ) lower yet as I'm anticipating a likely scenario.

You may be right HHHG. You seen to have a good feel for this ETF. Six months ago the Price was at $25! It's been an amazing fall to say the least. But nothing goes in a straight line forever, it has to turn up eventually. Unless the country's entire banking systems completely fails,...and these days nothing would surprise me! Good luck to you.

Oil has lower to go & $USD has higher movement yet in my view. I think we see a pattern repeat on BRZU similar to Nov-December. I anticipate good chance of 2.80-3.20 here yet

Good call yesterday. I didn't anticipate the dollar to continue up and oil getting crushed. Those are the two things weighing on us here. If the dollar continues up we may very well see your $3s. Problem is we are free falling constantly touching a new all time low. No real technical supports down here. Just psychological ones I suppose. Was good to see $4 hold for now at least

I certainly am liking this from the sidelines yet again (and glad I got out on last little gap up as it soon after broke below the 5.00 mark yesterday).

I agree. I didn't say that we are seeing a technically supported bottom, just that I believe $4.70 range is a relatively safe buy in. I completely agree that it could go lower but at the same time, I never try to find exact bottom. Everyone should obviously do what works best for them. For me, I'll be buying more tomorrow if we dip further.

Support is low of 4.62 (& 4.53 pre-market actual lowest), and BRZU traded downward all day until market close nearly testing that level. Trading is now at critical juncture around minimal support (not "4.70"), so I don't share your enthusiasm for presumed ultimate bottom here.

Anything can happen here, and in my analysis and experience, it is best to error toward chances likely it drops more to new low yet.
RSI is showing oversold --- I agree, but that is more of a general technical & certainly does not determine where this bottoms.
RSI could have been used for argument of being oversold for over a week already, and since then this has dropped.
Be cautious here and not presume too much it has bottomed yet, whcih is my view here.

RSI at 28 I think we are seeing a bottom in the $4.70 range. Just need the dollar to take a breather

I've always loved BRZU chart. Despite downward trend longer term, the channel is a fairly predicable one compared to most stocks (or any other 3x fund) & plays out for nice short term swing trades after oversold dips.

Yea, I lost a pinky lol but I took a small starter with plans to average down as I did on RUSS right before its big burst up. No way to know what the bottom is on these things but with money to average down, extreme oversold on chart and USD needing to take a breather, I'm feeling pretty good over all. Guess we will see where we land tomorrow
