PIMCO is pleased to announce the promotion of 20 to Executive Vice
President, 31 to Senior Vice President and 63 to Vice President.

The Executive Vice Presidents are:
Ryan P. Blute, CFA Mr. Blute is a product
manager in the London office, overseeing global and regional credit
strategies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2000, Mr. Blute was a senior
accountant at Deloitte & Touche and also has experience in
institutional investment grade and high yield bond research. He has
11 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the
University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He received an
undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and is a
Certified Public Accountant.
David L. Braun, CFA Mr. Braun is an
insurance portfolio manager in the New York City office. Prior to
joining PIMCO in 2009, he was executive vice president and chief
risk officer at Hartford Investment Management Co., a division of
The Hartford. Before that, he was a senior manager in the risk and
value optimization practice at Ernst & Young. He has 17 years
of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree in
mathematics from the University of Connecticut. He is also a
Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a Fellow of the Society of
Actuaries (FSA).
John Cavalieri Mr. Cavalieri is a product
manager in the Newport Beach office, overseeing PIMCO's asset
allocation products. He also serves as a member of the Dow
Jones-UBS Commodity Index Advisory Committee. He previously served
as a product manager on PIMCO's real return team. Prior to joining
PIMCO in 2003, Mr. Cavalieri worked in the investment banking
division at Credit Suisse First Boston. He has 12 years of
investment experience and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of
the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from the
University of California, Los Angeles.
Tony Crescenzi Mr. Crescenzi is a market
strategist and portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office. Prior
to joining PIMCO in 2009, he was chief bond market strategist at
Miller Tabak, where he worked for 23 years. He helped create that
firm's asset management division and served as its chairman. Mr.
Crescenzi has written four books, including his latest, "The
Strategic Bond Investor," which was published in June 2010, and a
1,200-page revision to Marcia Stigum's classic, "The Money Market."
He regularly appears on CNBC and Bloomberg television and in
financial news media. He has 27 years of investment experience and
holds an MBA from St. John's University and an undergraduate degree
from the City University of New York.
Yuri Garbuzov Mr. Garbuzov is a portfolio
manager in the Newport Beach office, focusing on structured credit
products. He joined PIMCO in 1997, and has also managed credit
portfolios, including bank loans, convertibles and structured bank
paper, and developed quantitative analytics for PIMCO. Before
coming to PIMCO, he was with the Institute of Physics of the
Russian Academy of Sciences and the Harvard Project on Economic
Reform in Moscow. He has 14 years of investment experience and
holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of
Business. He also holds a master's degree in physics from the
Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
John Griffiths Mr. Griffiths is head of
business development for the U.K. market in the London office.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, he was head of pension fund
development for Santander Global Banking and Markets in London.
Previously, he was the institutional sales manager at Invesco Asset
Management after joining from Zurich IFA Group, where he was
national employee benefit manager. He has 17 years of investment
experience.
Sachin Gupta Mr. Gupta is a portfolio
manager in the London office, focusing on European government bond
markets and interest rate derivatives. Prior to joining PIMCO in
2003, he was in the derivatives marketing group at ABN AMRO Bank.
He has 13 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from
XLRI, India. He received an undergraduate degree from Indian
Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Jonathan Horne Mr. Horne is a portfolio
manager in the Newport Beach office, focusing on credit relative
value and convertible bonds. He previously served on the interest
rate derivatives desk, where he specialized in interest rate swaps
and swaptions. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, he worked for a
multi-strategy hedge fund controlled by the Bass family of Ft.
Worth, Texas, where he focused on risk management and options
trading. He has seven years of investment experience and holds an
MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and
undergraduate degrees in economics and philosophy from Vanderbilt
University.
Gang Hu Mr. Hu is a portfolio manager
focusing on global inflation-linked bonds in the Newport Beach
office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, he was responsible for
trading U.S. inflation products, including TIPS and inflation
swaps, at Deutsche Bank in New York. He has 10 years of investment
experience and holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the
California Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree from
Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Dan Hyman Mr. Hyman a portfolio manager
focusing on mortgage-backed securities and derivatives in the
Newport Beach office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, Mr. Hyman was
a vice president at Credit Suisse where he traded Agency
pass-throughs. He has eight years of investment experience and
holds an undergraduate degree from Lehigh University.
Julie Meggers, CFA Ms. Meggers is an
account manager in the Newport Beach office, focusing on
institutional client servicing. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2003, she
was a strategic management consultant with Bain & Company.
Prior to that, she was a senior auditor at Arthur Andersen and also
lectured at St. Augustine University in Tanzania on auditing and
cost accounting. She has 12 years of investment experience and
holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She earned undergraduate
degrees from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Public
Accountant.
Cynthia Meyn Ms. Meyn is senior operations
manager in the New York City office, and leads PIMCO's U.S.
operations team. In addition, she serves as a member of leading
operational industry groups, including the DTCC Operations Advisory
Committee, Omgeo's Board of Managers, ISDA Operations Steering
Committee (OSC), SIFMA Operations and Technology Steering Committee
(OTSC) and SIMFA Asset Managers Forum (AMF). Prior to joining PIMCO
in 2008, Ms. Meyn was the managing director of North American
operations at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Previously, she
was global co-director of fixed income and derivatives technology
at AllianceBernstein, managing director of global fixed income
technology at Cantor Fitzgerald, and chief technology officer and
chief risk officer at Mizuho Capital Markets. She has 25 years of
investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree from Smith
College and an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of
Business.
Raja Mukherji Mr. Mukherji is a senior
research analyst in the Newport Beach office. He is responsible for
analyzing investment opportunities in basic industries (chemicals,
metals & mining, paper, and packaging) in North and Latin
America. He is also Head of Credit Research, North America. Prior
to joining PIMCO in 2006, Mr. Mukherji was a senior analyst at
Chatham Asset Management, where he covered basic industries for a
long/short hedge fund. Before that, he was a Principal at JP Morgan
Partners covering High Yield and Mezzanine investments for the
firm's CLO & private equity funds. He has 16 years of
investment experience and holds an MBA from the Pamplin School of
Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He
received an undergraduate degree from St. Xavier's College,
India.
Tom Rice Mr. Rice is European legal
counsel in the London office. He provides legal advice and
servicing relating to activities in Europe, the Middle East and
Africa and globally in relation to PIMCO's European funds. Prior to
joining PIMCO in 2004, he was legal counsel for the Investment
Management Association in the U.K. Mr. Rice was previously legal
and compliance director for Lazard Asset Management and senior
legal adviser to Schroder Investment Management in London. Mr. Rice
is a qualified solicitor with 17 years of legal experience, holds
the Investment Management Certificate and a bachelor of commerce
degree from the University of Birmingham.
Mark A. Romano, CFA Mr. Romano is an
account manager in the Newport Beach office focusing on investment
consulting firms, clients and developing new client relationships.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 1997, he was with Wells Fargo's
institutional money management group. Prior to that, Mr. Romano was
director of fixed income and a portfolio manager for the Pacifica
family of mutual funds. In addition, Mr. Romano reported the daily
business news for the San Diego ABC-TV affiliate. He has 29 years
of investment experience and holds an MBA from San Diego State
University. He earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from
Shippensburg University, Pennsylvania.
Scott Spalding Mr. Spalding is a member of
the global wealth management team in the Newport Beach office. He
focuses on relationships with financial intermediaries serving the
private wealth marketplace, including trust banks, private banks
and other financial institutions. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2000,
he was with the national accounts group of PacifiCare Health
Systems for nearly six years. He has 10 years of investment
experience and holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at
the University of Southern California and an undergraduate degree
from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Candice Stack Ms. Stack is an account
manager in the Newport Beach office. In addition to her
responsibilities as head of the U.S. foundation and endowment team,
she works directly with institutional clients throughout the U.S.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, she was in the private wealth
management group at Goldman Sachs and in investor relations at
Atticus Capital. She has eight years of investment experience and
holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She received her
undergraduate degree from Duke University.
Kimberley Stafford, CFA Ms. Stafford is a
member of PIMCO's executive office, contributing to firm-wide
strategic, financial and operational initiatives in the Newport
Beach office. She joined PIMCO in 2000 and previously served as an
account manager in the consultant relations group and analyst in
PIMCO's trade compliance group. She has 10 years of investment
experience and holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at
the University of Southern California. She earned her undergraduate
degree at the University of Redlands.
Christian M. Staub, CFA Mr. Staub is head
of business development in Switzerland in the Zurich office. He
previously spent three years as an account manager in Newport
Beach, servicing and advising domestic institutional clients. Prior
to joining PIMCO in 2005, he was with Allianz Global Investors,
responsible for operations in Switzerland. Before that, he spent
five years at UBS in equities research in Zurich, Singapore and
Hong Kong. He has 12 years of investment experience and holds an
MBA from Harvard Business School. He has an undergraduate degree
from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.
David Viana Mr. Viana is head of
compliance for EMEA in the London office. Prior to joining PIMCO in
2004, he was head of compliance for non-U.S. businesses at Goldman
Sachs Asset Management. Prior to that, he held various senior
positions with the U.K. investment management regulator, IMRO, now
FSA. Mr. Viana is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in England and Wales having qualified as a Chartered
Accountant with the firm of Neville Russell (now Mazars). He has 21
years of compliance experience and holds a bachelor's degree from
the London School of Economics and Political Science.
