Verbund AG on Monday said that it will acquire an operational photovoltaic portfolio and a development platform in Spain.

The Austrian electricity provider said the portfolio has a total installed capacity of 82 megawatts peak, while the platform of wind and PV will have a capacity of around 2.1 gigawatts at an advanced stage of development.

The sellers are various funds of Q-Energy Group, according to the company.

Financial details of the deal weren't disclosed.
