For Example, in this article (very recent) it says MNP's subsidiary Petroleum Sugd is producing 10 oil fields. Please use google translate of the browser. It says MNP subsidiary produces 10 thousand tonnes of petroleum each year. That is huge? Why no benefits to long term shareholders. anyone knows?

Hello, is anybody here? i hold this stock (for many years). Recently there are lot of news on internet related to the MNP's subsidiary Somon Oil in Tajikistan. Please visit the below website. Looks like MNP petroleum and its subsidiaries still alive and still producing oil from its licensed areas. Why this stock still a dead one? Any chance it resurrect? Please share your thoughts

Given the last post date of 8-21 I doubt that anyone is still hanging around on MNAP. If anyone is out there what exactly happened in the end.

Year after year. what a waste of time this stock is. That being said. I did trade it 3 times on this last little flurry. Did well all three times. Now, if I can just do that 287 more times. I will be back to even on this TURKEY.

It is an interesting property. Quite large, not even close to being fully developed. Only shallow wells, from long ago. The investment will come. But not till the two clowns are gone.

Yes agreed.. I just wonder how and why the lights are still on. I’ve asked Vogel the PR contact why they don’t give any news on the producing wells. Never any answers. If it’s a play fir China it makes allot of sense. Sinopec is Chinese and there somewhere I believe.

Take a look at INTK . Look at tge board chatter on investment hub. These guys are all shareholders for many years like me. It’s getting interesting. Big volumes. Some 30-50 million share days. Syneffex product is very interesting. The pop is more this small company getting current with financials and OTC filings. New web site.

I wish I could give you a honest answer. I my self am also down 80,000 on this turkey. It is not much to me. But I keep it to make me more care full in my choices of investments. The problem is there is no one to talk to, that gives you any real answers. People think that with the electric cars demand for oil will drop. Not going to happen. Over 80% of oil goes for other uses. The only thing that makes sense, is that some one is trying to buy a controlling interest to take it over. No matter who you talk to. You come away with the fact. That the rim of a coffee cup, would give you a straighter answer.

Back in 2015 they purchased an interest in a company for $12 mm and it had 8 producing wells.
Why is that asset never discussed?
Maybe because they don’t discuss anything post 2017.
Is this a China play given its proximity?

Does MNAP still control the Tanj. Land lease or were they tossed due to non performance (?)

If you remember. This is an old SOVIET property. Shallow wells, old technology, large basin, not fully explored and right next door to China. If I remember right. Years ago they tried to get the banks to finance the project. But because where it was located, no takers. But would be no problem if the Chinese wanted it.

Wish I knew what the news is. Rumor for years was the Chinese wanted the property. It is right on their doorstep. Been watching the volume pick up the last three months. Maybe this time it is for real.

thanks for that explanation. I am not sure what the news means or how it effects MNAP. However, after trading below a penny for over a year and then increasing over the last couple weeks by several 100 %, it certainly seems positive. Also, if a company is willing to risk 60 million, they must like the prospects, AND MNAP will now have plenty of funds to explore.

Good question. If $35 million buys 60%, the remaining 40% is worth (4/6)x $35 = $23.33 million.

Divide that by the number of shares outstanding, around 172 million, and we get a stock price of 13.5 cents/share.

I'm not sure why the stock price has gone down on this news. Perhaps some people who bought in at 2 cents or under are looking to take profits.

Also, given the history of failed deals, some investors are probably waiting to see the first $3 million hit the Company's bank account before becoming believers.

Then again, judging from how few messages there are here, I'm not sure how many people are following this stock anymore. Management needs to get the news out to the street.

In the medium term, after the $3 million is in the bank and investors realize this is for real, the stock price should head to the 13-14 cent range.

I am not good with numbers. If they paid 35 million for 60%. Does that mean our stock is worth .10 per share?

("MNP") (MNP.V) (MNAP) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a binding agreement (the "Agreement") with GSC-TL Partners LLC ("GSCP"), a privately held Delaware limited liability company headquartered in Houston, Texas, providing for a staged private placement of up to 60% of the equity of MNP for a purchase price of up to US$35,000,000.

The Agreement contemplates that MNP will issue an aggregate of 258,955,325 common shares (approximately 60% of the issued and outstanding common shares after adjusting for the issuance) in exchange for an investment into MNP and its projects of up to US$35,000,000. Only a portion of the purchase price - US$4,000,000 - will be in the form of cash paid to MNP - the balance is to be invested directly into work programs on MNP's oil and gas properties in Tajikistan over a 24 month period, as well as the construction of a community development project (the construction of a school in the Farkhor District of Tajikistan).

In the first stage, MNP proposes to issue 43,000,000 common shares to GSCP for cash consideration of US$3,000,000 to be paid to MNP. After adjusting for the issuance of these common shares, GSCP would own approximately 19.95% of the issued and outstanding common shares of MNP. The Agreement contemplates that this first stage will close shortly after receipt of all required regulatory and stock exchange approvals (this closing date will then be the "Effective Date" of the Agreement). Also on the Effective Date, MNP has agreed to cause one of its five directors to resign and appoint one GSCP nominee to fill that vacancy, and it will permit GSCP to designate a new Chief Operating Officer and a Corporate Secretary to be appointed by the MNP Board of Directors on the Effective Date.

In the second stage, the Agreement contemplates that MNP will issue up to 93,000,000 common shares to GSCP for a purchase price of US$1,000,000 cash to MNP and up to US$6,500,000 to be invested by GSCP in the Tajik community development project, which was originally undertaken by MNP as part of the acquisition transaction of EPA.at Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. ("EPA"). The Agreement contemplates that the construction of the new school should be completed by August 1, 2018, that GSCP will pay the US$1,000,000 to MNP six months after the Effective Date and the second stage shares will be issued on the first anniversary of the Effective Date.

In the third stage, the Agreement contemplates that MNP will issue to GSCP an additional 122,955,325 common shares on the second anniversary of the Effective Date in exchange for the financing of an interest free facility by GSCP, over the 24 month period beginning on the Effective Date, of US$25,000,000 or its equivalent in work programs on the two exploration concessions in Tajikistan owned by DWM Petroleum's Tajik subsidiary CJSC Somon Oil and the redevelopment of the oilfield project owned by Petroleum Sugd LLC. Petroleum Sugd LLC, a Tajik company owned by EPA (as to 57.42%) and Sugdneftugas (as to 42.58%), owns ten (10) producing oilfields in Northern Tajikistan.
