No, the TA updates it.
OTC automatically updates the o/s whether it changes or not. The TA gets the number from the company.
I've been in contact w/ TAs many times over the years when OTCM shows a stagnant share-count that has NOT been updated in forever - that's termed "gagging the TA" and is not uncommon in OTC.
When that's occurring, typically the OTCM date will be weeks or months behind, and you can be pretty confident the company is dumping shares and remaining intentionally delinquent in reporting it.
I don't doubt $DTII would dump as many shares as possible when able, but I believe the TA would be gagged in that case and NOT BE REPORTING daily/weekly updates as they have been.
Sure, maybe I'm wrong this time but no reason to attack & call names just cuz I asked an honest question.

Lost opportunity??
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Salem-Keizer Public Schools announced plans to expand school safety measures on Friday, including implementing weapon detection systems.
The decision to implement the weapon detection tools comes after a pilot program with the detection systems at South Salem High School in May. SKPS considered the pilot after a shooting near the school at Bush’s Pasture Park in March led to the death of a 16-year-old boy and left two others hospitalized.
Under the pilot program, students and school visitors who entered the school were greeted by staff and required to pass through a screening process, and according to a SKPS survey, helped the school community feel safer.
The survey of over 1,000 students, parents, and staff found nearly 50% of students and nearly 75% of staff reported feeling safer with the weapon detection system in place.
“We are working every day to ensure that our schools are, first and foremost, safe places for learning,” said Superintendent Andrea Castañeda. “This decision was deliberate and measured, and made after engaging researchers, our community, and completing a comprehensive pilot at one of our high schools. In the pilot, we learned that it is possible to implement new safety measures, including weapon detection, in thoughtful ways that improve student and staff sense of safety.”

South Salem HS to install weapons detection system
The school district said during the pilot, student behavior and attendance violations decreased, and attendance improved.
“Our schools are the center of life in our neighborhoods and communities, and we want everyone to be safe and feel safe” said School Board Chair Cynthia Richardson. “Speaking only as one member of the board, I believe our school district is headed in the right direction by taking action to put more safety systems in place. Improvements to safety help our students focus on learning and our educators focus on instruction and building relationships.”
The district plans to implement weapon detection systems across all high schools by the end of the school year, with plans to bring the system to middle schools in 2026.
The total cost for the high school systems is still being assessed; however, school officials said costs will likely exceed $1.5 million. About half of the high school cost will be paid for by a restricted fund, meaning those funds cannot be allocated toward other resources.
“Our investment is in safety systems that prioritize the experience of students in schools,” said Chris Baldridge, director of Safety and Risk Management Services. “Student experience is not a corner we are willing to cut.”
“We are responsible for the safety of the most precious people in your lives and members of our community,” said Castañeda. “We have to take action with reasonable measures that are within our reach. Weapons detection is not a solution to the underlying problem of fear, violence, and firearms in our community. It is simply an additional comprehensive layer to protect schools.”

10-Q out. Fun read... unless you're bullish.
During the three months ended July 31, 2024, the Company did not receive any revenue. https://www.otcmarkets.com/filing/html?id=17875388&guid=xOL-kpiQAeImB3h
No sales, only $8K in assets but $millions in debt, plenty conversions & related-party transactions, etc etc.
Looks like a crime scene.
Literally...

So are you saying they use DTII or is that wishful thinking ?
Clear as bell- They are not:
"The State Fair of Texas is using the same weapons detection system as last year. The technology, CEIA OPENGATE, is used at several other local entertainment venues, including the American Airlines Center, Fair Park’s Dos Equis Pavilion and the Toyota Music Factory."
Just shows how irrelevant DTII'S portals are, and that other security systems are much better. There is no interest in DTII's portals.
In Texas where the DTII Distributor is, The State fare is going with another system, DTII'S distributor has not sold any portals since they purchased them 10 months ago.

$DTII The scanner they are using is not Passive Portal, however it had a major issue in 2023.
DALLAS - The company that brought new weapons detection scanners to the State Fair of Texas is standing by its equipment in the wake of the shooting last weekend.
This is the first year ‘Opengate’ scanners have been used at fair entrances. State fair officials now say the gunman did not have a license to carry, so it’s still unclear how he brought a gun in.
Dubbed ‘revolutionary,’ state fair officials showed off new Opengate scanners ahead of this year’s opening.
Unlike a traditional metal detector, it works by ignoring things like phones or keys. It’s designed specifically to detect weapons.
But what’s still unclear is whether 22-year-old Cameron Turner walked through one when he entered the fair Saturday. Police say he shot and injured three people in the food court area.

This was in my original post: The Texas State Fair’s pedestrian entry gates have a new layout this year, using a switchback queueing system that leads all guests through weapon detectors. In addition, the security screening process will be video recorded at every entrance.

$DTII The State Fair of Texas’ 2024 security
The State Fair of Texas’ 2024 security measures include a ban on firearms and large bags, a redesigned entry system and age-restricted admission at night.
Here’s a guide to the Texas State Fair’s safety policies this year, in the wake of a 2023 food court shooting that left three injured.
Texas State Fair security
The State Fair of Texas works with a variety of local and national law enforcement agencies to develop its security plan, according to organizers.
Both uniformed and plainclothes officers will be present at the fair, as well as civilian security teams that include retired Dallas Police Department officers. Fair officials would not provide the number of personnel or training specifics, citing security reasons.
This year, there will be a 24/7 State Fair Command Center acting as the central hub for operational communications, event oversight and incident notification, tracking and resolution. It is led by the recently retired former director of Dallas’ Office of Emergency Management.

$DTII Defense Technologies International Corp.: Conclusion of Assessments of the Passive Portal(TM) by NUSTL
https://www.newsfilecorp.com/release/221814
Del Mar, California--(Newsfile Corp. - September 3, 2024) - Defense Technologies International Corp. (OTC Pink: DTII) (the Company) and Passive Security Scan Inc. (PSSI - the Subsidiary); innovative providers of security technology and systems with broad and diverse applications, are pleased to announce the conclusion of assessments of the Passive Portal system by NUSTL for their SAVER program.
The Company is pleased to announce the completion of assessments of the Passive Portal by the National Urban Security Technology Laboratory - NUSTL, who manages the System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders - SAVER and provides information on commercially available equipment to assist response organizations in equipment selection and procurement. Further, the company's Technical Advisor, Rick Fluck, attended the weeklong SAVER assessment and gives the following observations of the assessment of the Passive Portal:
Rick Fluck reports: "The enhanced Passive Portal's filtering and sensing capabilities, as reported in the Company's last news release, greatly improved the operation of our passive sensors and Passive Portal as a whole. In my observations of the over 500 operational scenario scans during the SAVER assessment, the Passive Portal operated without skipping a beat. These operational scenarios included screening operations in electrically noisy environments to outdoor screening on uneven pavement and in lumpy grassy areas, which simulated the various secure locations where weapons detection is utilized for public safety. The Passive Portal proved that it could handle all these operational scenarios and more, and as the inventor of the passive scanning technology, I am very pleased with Passive Portal's performance. Passive Portal's lightweight portability, strong aluminum construction and the ability to choose either AC or DC power operation, proved to me how quickly and easily it is to deploy the Passive Portal for these various operational scenarios. In summary, the Passive Portal outperformed even my high expectations."
As reported in our last news release, clients using the Passive Portal will be able to download the updated firmware and software with a link provided by the Company through our various client channels, which will include detailed instructions on how to easily update their Passive Portal products. The update only takes a few seconds to install on the Passive Portal.
"I am very pleased to hear about the results observed by our Technical Advisor during the assessment of the Passive Portal at the TSL Test Center in Atlantic City." Eric Forrest, President Passive Security Scan Inc.

Wow the Balance sheet is even worse than last Year's end.
Cash is $171 (LOL), current assets down ($27,546), current liabilities up $416,166, Stockholders equity down $442,712, no sales in the 4th quarter.
Is it possible the 100,010 shares issued on 8/9/2024 were issued to pay the auditors so they can continue with the audited statements? Maybe they stopped until they were paid.
Oh, by the way no one was impressed by the filing--NO TRADES TODAY.
