Visionstate and Visio Media Integrate NFC Tech

Visionstate Inc., a division of CSM systems corp. (TSX VENTURE:CKX), is
collaborating with Visio Media to integrate new NFC technology with their ViCCi
interactive directories at Southgate Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.


NFC (Near Field Communication) is incorporated into most smartphones which
allows shoppers to pull information from an advertisement by simply tapping it.
Once the shopper taps the designated position on the directory ad with their
phone, they will have access to a variety of benefits -coupons, product
information, retail websites, restaurant menus, social media pages, and
contests. Visionstate views this as an opportunity to integrate its mobile
directory in the near future, similar to their current QR coded mobile ViCCi at
Guildford Town Centre (Surrey, BC), where all the information from the full
directories can be viewed on shopper's pocket device.


Visionstate's ViCCi (Virtual Customer Care Interface) has been informing,
engaging, and wayfinding shoppers at Southgate Centre for over eight years. This
additional interactive component, which is overlaid on the ViCCi directory, will
engage Southgate Centre guests in a new way with this creative mobile shopping
experience.


Southgate is one of the top performing malls in Canada and is known for its
forward thinking attitude towards technology and customer service.


Visio Media is Visionstate Inc.'s local media sales partner in Edmonton that is
bringing this new location based mobile marketing technology to Canada and
leading this project. Founders Fouad Masri, Nicolette Leonardis, and Boaz Lau
say that this will expand their advertising outside traditional advertising
means, gain a larger reach with improved analytics, and give them an edge when
moving forward in the digital out of home advertising market.


The NFC campaign launches December 4, 2013 at Southgate Centre.
