The crash is under investigation by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).
"It has been almost a year, and the investigation is still being carried out very thoroughly. We need to understand one thing, whenever such an investigation takes place especially involving an international flight with foreign nationals on board, the final report can be questioned and scrutinized by any country or institution concerned," the Union Minister added.

My guess is that this AAIB will blame a Boeing component and not the actions of the pilot as the cause of the crash. The people over there will not place blame on the pilots. And I'll bet the NTSB will have LOTS to say about their investigation, if that turns out to be what happens.

During the two-hour flight, the unmanned aircraft successfully demonstrated its ability to autonomously taxi, take off, fly, land and respond to commands from the Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control System MD-5 Ground Control Station (GCS). Boeing and U.S. Navy Air Vehicle Pilots facilitated the mission by sending the aircraft commands and then monitored its performance from the GCS at MidAmerica St. Louis Airport in Mascoutah, Ill., where the program is based. Revenue rose 14% year-on-year to $22.2 billion from $19.5 billion, coming in ahead of the $21.99 billion consensus estimate. The increase was largely driven by 143 commercial aircraft deliveries, up from 130 in the same period last year. That material becomes the permanent magnets inside the next generation of Western defense systems like fighter jets, missiles, and drones.Why This Matters Right NowMost people have heard that China dominates the rare earths market, about 90% of the world's rare earths are processed there. What they haven't thought through is what that actually means when the supply gets cut off.Japan figured this out decades ago and built strategic stockpiles covering two to three years of national consumption. The United States, however, has stockpiled nothing. Neither has Europe.We've been running on just-in-time supply from a country that issues rare earth export licenses on a monthly basis. If Beijing is happy with you this month, you get your allocation. If they're not, they cut it.When China briefly restricted exports last year, a Ford plant was forced to shut down almost immediately. When Trump threatened 100% tariffs, China's response was simple: no more processed rare earths. Trump backed off very quickly.Now consider the effects on the military side. In 2024, Ukraine produced 1.2 million combat drones, every single magnet in every one of them was manufactured in China. An F-35 carries 435 kilos of rare earths. A next-gen U.S. destroyer needs 4.5 tons. A nuclear submarine needs 1.5 tons.Without a secure supply of these materials, none of those systems get built, which means China effectively holds a kill switch over Western defense production.The Pentagon knows it, too. That's why new procurement rules taking effect January 1, 2027, will ban Chinese-sourced rare earths from the entire U.S. defense supply chain, from the mine all the way through to the finished product. That means every defense contractor in the country will need a qualified, non-Chinese source. REalloys is positioning to be that source."1% Reliance on China Is 100% Reliance on China"There's a reality in the rare earth industry that most companies haven't seemed to fully consider: 1% reliance on China is 100% reliance on China. If any single input in your supply chain comes from Beijing, your entire operation is one phone call away from shutting down. REalloys' (ALOY) supply chain has no Chinese inputs at any stage, processing technology, furnaces, chemicals, AI systems, or consumables. Hypothetical Scenario of a Coordinated Missile Saturation Attack and Strategic Rationality

In the context of rising tensions in the Middle East, an increasingly discussed question is the following: what would happen if Iran, potentially supported through advanced weapons transfers from Russia or China, conducted a coordinated large-scale missile attack against a U.S. naval platform?

From a purely military-technical perspective, every defense system has a saturation point. If a sufficiently large number of missiles are launched within a compressed time window, there is a theoretical possibility that some may penetrate even a layered defense architecture. U.S. carrier strike groups operate with multi-layered protection, including early detection systems, airborne fighter cover, Aegis-equipped escort vessels, long- and medium-range interceptors, electronic warfare capabilities, and close-in defensive systems. Yet military feasibility does not automatically translate into strategic rationality.

The deliberate transfer of sophisticated weapon systems with the intent of enabling a direct strike on a U.S. platform would represent an extremely high political risk for any state identified as the supplier. In an era of satellite surveillance, electronic monitoring, and advanced intelligence analysis, the complete concealment of complex weapons transfers is highly unlikely. Confirmed involvement by a major power in the sinking of a U.S. carrier would carry significant escalation potential.

From a strategic standpoint, neither Russia nor China has a rational interest in triggering open military confrontation with the United States. Both prioritize economic stability, energy flows, and the avoidance of uncontrolled systemic escalation. Likewise, Iran must balance deterrence signaling with regime survival considerations. A full-scale war with the United States would present existential risks.

Even in a hypothetical scenario involving serious damage to a U.S. naval platform, American strategic dominance would not automatically collapse. U.S. power rests on a combination of global basing infrastructure, strategic submarines, air superiority, technological leadership, alliance networks, and financial-system influence. While a successful strike could produce a substantial psychological effect and challenge perceptions of invulnerability, long-term geopolitical outcomes would depend primarily on escalation control and response dynamics.

In conclusion, a coordinated saturation attack breaching naval defenses is theoretically possible. However, the political, strategic, and systemic costs associated with such an action make it an exceptionally high-risk path for all actors involved. In a multipolar international system, consequence calculus often outweighs pure military capability.

This marks the Southeast Asian carrier's first purchase of fuel-efficient Boeing airplanes.







The airline finalized its firm order for 10 737-8 jets and opportunity for 10 more in December 2025. The order was previously unidentified on Boeing's Orders and Deliveries website.With the 737 MAX, Air Cambodia will renew and grow its fleet as air travel serves an increasing role in connecting people and places throughout the region. The airline will leverage the 737-8's capabilities, efficiency and passenger comfort features for its expanding network of high-demand routes across Asia."The 737-8 gives Air Cambodia the ideal combination of range, capacity and fuel efficiency to support our next phase of growth," said Dr. David Zhan, CEO of Air Cambodia. The airline finalized an incremental purchase of 20 737-8 jets this month and an order for 10 737-10 airplanes was previously unidentified on Boeing's Orders & Deliveries website.
