Sad really. Some good people really got conned here. So many signs that people ignored.

Years ago when it was running up in anticipation of the big Oracle 'reveal' something didn't add up - the stats should have been in on whatever that was (I actually have forgotten) that Rory said he'd take everyone to Hawaii for..and I turned skeptic. Then the Oracle thing went bust and as the company started backpeddling I tried and succeeded in replicating the 'incredible' technology -- buttons appearing during videos,and even Rory walking out onto your screen -- that one some said no one else in the world had gotten it to work on iphones. I'm not whiz at programming and within a few days I did it using javascript. It all just confirmed the amateurish nature of the company. They were hiring novices overseas to do the programming at low cost...

And early on there were other big warning signs - remember the sheriff vowing to get those evil shorters? And Rory vowing the company would NEVER do death spiral financing...

Then came one pivot after another: From live betting on rap 'duels', to a video 'ecosystem' to Tic Tok, and so much more in between. Then the biz combo with the Utah group. The crazy 'IPO' move to Nasdaq. and pivot after pivot since then..I stopped paying attention not much longer after that..

The 6 month chart is something to behold.

Even the other site's cheerleading board is mostly dormant. The smart money got out when the TONX deal was announced.

I'm not the least bit surprised. Rory always did what was best for Rory (and for his pal Geiskkopf). Keep the song and dance act going while drawing millions in salary and benefits. In his mind, shareholders are sheep to be fleeced.

Meanwhile, the GoFundme farce continues. Companies are presumably paying $ 12k to appear on a show that practically no one sees.

So...Amazon Live failed? It's very much alive from what I can see. Lots of streaming content and innumerable shows available for on-demand playback. Maybe they meant to write "Why Market.Live failed despite spending tens of millions of dollars and numerous revamps and relaunches."

What does it tell you that he’s selling near the 52week low of 2.73, rather than waiting to see if it starts climbing up again, closer to its 52week high of 29.77?

I’d love to see him re-emerge for a post mortem. Never have I seen someone so wrong on an investment prospect.

Market.live could have been a viable product if they had paid more attention to detail. had better tech and had money to market it. Instead Rory made appearances on podcasts talking about how smart he is.

Not sure what you mean. It was an actual company. NFUSZ/VERB had expensive leased office space, dozens of employees and multiple products and then multiple pivots from one business concept to another.

The problem was that each of Rory's ideas was either stupid or poorly executed. For example, there are several successful video selling platforms. Everyone else just did it better. Or they were much better funded and could market their sites. One of Rory's greatest flaws is that he had the attitude of "built it and they will come."

Don't undersell how much shareholder money Rory burned. It's in the neighborhood of $ 200 million.

Rory is a serial loser in business, but he always knew how to feather his own nest (and that of Geiskopf, his enabler).

There was little doubt that the new company owners would be shutting down Rory's stupid web sites at some point. Who knew it would all happen so quickly.

Oh, and the story is near its 52 week low so Rory's scamming partners are doing just great by the shareholders.

I took a spin over to the GoFundYourself YouTube channel. Like Rory's other creations, it's a total flop.

Shows less than a month old have fewer than 100 views. 100. LOL.

Shows 1 to 2 months old have between 100 and 200 views.

What I'd love to see is a retrospective of the companies that have appeared on GoFundYourself. Shark Tank (which Rory, Meltzer and the other clown whose name I can't even think of) ripped off the Shark Tank concept. ST often takes a look back to visit entrepreneurs that have appeared on the show to see how they are doing. ST only visits the companies that are having success, of course, but this is entertainment after all.

GFY should pay a visit to the many successful companies that have raised funds as a result of being on the show. And let's see how those companies are doing.

It will never happen. Because the latest victims of Rory, Meltzer and the other idiot are the companies that pay good money to appear on a platform that no one sees.

Which is why we have to keep doing the work of the Righteous and warn people of this scam.  People like lajet and redspeed will never stop.  So we can't either.
