iShares 20 plus Year Treasury Bond (TLT)

US gov debt has risen over $38.5 trillion. And Social security OASDI and Medicare are running out of money by 2033. The US treasury has been using OASDI and Medicare funds as a backdoor to gererating more money (printing bonds). As the trust funds for Social Security and Medicare deplete, the U.S. government will indeed lose the ability to "borrow" from their intergovernmental holdings, which will make the need to issue public debt more urgent to cover ongoing federal deficits. Current stimulus is enormous (over $2 trillion per year) but is unsustainable. Leaving an unpayable bill for future unknowing victims (US citizens). But most companies are now reporting lower net income than prior year. Even this massive stimulus is insufficient to keep the house of cards up. There is heightened pressure and a crisis coming soon. Beware.

The US gov. debt was $36.2 trillion at the beginning of July 2025 (according to US Treasury data). When do you think it will exceed $38 trillion??? Try next week! That would be rise of a whopping $1.8 trillion in less than 4 mo! Even with all this stimulus injection into the economy and markets, earnings are shrinking at most companies. Terrible!

TLT Time to load up on the dip - Economic numbers will be revised lower, as always, which will show continued economic contraction.

Their is a rush at the top in equities right now, the inverse play will be the long bond.

7% shrinking GDP numbers today. This is terrible and another massive increase to debt.
GDP = Consumption + Investment + Net Government Injection+ (Exports - Imports)
The government borrowed $2.5 trillion during the past 12 months & injected that into economy.
The GDP would have decreased by 7% if the manipulative government had not injected 9%. This is poor policy and will have disastrous consequences. #GDP_Shrunk7%

Terrible! The inflation was not transitory. Costs are up 30% from pre-pandemic 2019, now are confirmed to be higher and continuing to rise.
Also, the government debt increase is not transitory. It is up from $27 T from 2021 to over $35.7 T and heading higher. Not coincidence!!!

Under Powell, costs have gone up more than 25% during the past 38 months. Costs are still going up far more than target.
Cost of labor is up more than 20%. Cost of energy is up more than 25%. Cost of aluminum and steel and produce and services are up more than 30%. Cost of rent is up more than 30%. Cost of meat is up more than 35%. Cost of insurance is up more than 40%. And all are going higher.
It is not all his fault. The federal governement has added more than $2 trillion per year to the debt and been injecting that into the economy and markets in order to make it look like a boom. They have brought the debt up from $21 trillion in 2019 to over $31.5 trillion as of last year. And now they are adding debt to the taxpayer even faster, with a $3.1 trillion increase to $34.6 trillion in the latest quarter. This is terrible policy that is unsustainable and is going to lead to an enormous collapse.
