FCE is still restructuring since November I believe and for it to be a successful restructure it takes time. Notice no recent significant news has come out and that is why this is being shorted from the recent $14 pps in about one week a drop of 35% . I see the stock dropping to about $7.50 before the next leg up . Hoghead says $20 by spring but I don’t see that happening unless some new catalyst can move the stock. If you notice FCE was neutral to the 45V news based on the comments from the last conference call and as you can see this management needs to change. A good CEO is what makes a company successful just look at bloom’s market cap compared to FCE is a joke but until this management can get their heads out of there asses then maybe this will have a chance . IMO

Obviously not very happy we were down 13% yesterday, but surprised we are down over 7% this morning. However, the NASDAQ is down 2.3% which is a massive decline, even more significant than FCEL decline. This 20+% drop in 2 days has very little, if anything to do with FCEL. We are trading average volume on no bad news or concerns about the company. And even if they announced a new project today, unless it was very high profile or $100+M, it would make very little difference. The company still has $300+M cash with $1.2B backlog and revenue for next 5 quarters to minimize losses. Interpretation, little to no ATM needed unless there is a growth opportunity they choose to capitalize on.

I'm thinking back over $13 by Monday if not today, and on above average volume.

As you now see, HOGWASH blocks anyone who has a different view. By doing so he sees only what supports his one sided views. That has led him to be so wrong for so long. Further, he then must block trusted research done by professions as well.
If one is to truly see the full picture, any astute investor takes all opinions, Analysts research, Technical Analysis, and other views into consideration.

That a writer's option. Everyone has an opinion. In this opinion as in most expressed publicly, there is some fact or statistics that are accurate and other ideas that are debatable. What’s the big picture?

Allowing reformation to get $3/kg H2 will be egregiously expensive. It’s probably not going to happen. Getting $1/kg will require upstream emissions to be abated while being regularly observed and validated by third parties and that all the auxiliary power requirements of production are met with three-pillars compliant power – this won’t be easy and anyone that thinks it will be is going to be in for a world of shock when they realize what upstream verification and validation entails. Getting $0.60/kg is within reach, but will require all that upstream verification still.

45Q is very easy to get, comparatively. The smart move is for large-scale reformation to go that way.

On a funny note, this makes Exxon’s threatening to scrap Baytown Blue over not getting a $2.5B government-sponsored profit really special. Note that this would be profit before charging anyone for their H2. I’m only picking on Exxon here because they were public about this, and threatened to throw their toys out of the toybox in a tantrum if they didn’t get it, but everyone pushing for $3/kg for reformation H2 is in the same boat – they are trying to get an immense profit at taxpayer expense that is well beyond the intended coverage of the costs of carbon capture.

Don't believe this energy Czar Bergman will have an impact. Trump is still "Drill Baby Drill" and while Bergman will talk the talk, he's gotta walk the walk. Carbon neutral is a fine idea but 1930 is 5 years away and we depend on oil. Without it, we're sunk.
As respects 45V and how it will turn FCEL around, its a wishful dream , yet to show any evidence that it will. Bloom, and even Plug is way ahead of FCEL in their marketing and their global reach. If 45V is to spur demand, it'll most likely be toward those two.

you were supposed to be on pins and needles about the 45v...now that it has finally arrived and proved to be nothing much, you are now supposed to get excited to see this nobody come into office because hes going to do such wonderful things...

In my opinion that is factually inaccurate. Obviously they need new contracts but they've had plenty of news about contracts and money over the past year and it did them no good without 45V. Once there's obvious policy support for our company, or fuel cells in general, We will run long and hard. I say our company or fuel cells in general because our company has more diverse technology than the other fuel cell companies. So fuel cell companies may not necessarily all prosper or may pull back, while we move forward. Our carbon capture in particular sets us apart. Especially with Doug Bergman taking a position for Trump.

With no news about future contracts FCE will continue to tank into single digits. Most people thought they will be a big run with the 45v news and now it’s over . If you want to accumulate then wait for single digits they will be here again . IMO

I partly disagree with your assessment.
1st- The stock had a huge % run in a short period of time. That entitles it to a quick profit taking pullback. That's a normal expectation.
The expectation of a pullback at $15 is reasonable ........ and could still happen after the next move up. It's where resistance is and if you recall it was the magic $.50/sh barrier before the R/S. ie $.50/sh x 30 = $15
2nd-To those who are not traders, " accumulate" is what they should be doing. For traders like yourself, scalping on a move like this is perfectly fine. The short term indicators have improved sufficiently enough to take a small position in the stock for INVESTORS .
3rd- TRUMP is the wildcard. What he does with hydrogen will determine its fate. I agree with your view.
If I were to lay a bet, Hydrogen is not in his playbook. Fossil fuels, Nuclear is. Yet hydrogen fuel cells will find its place and probably thrive without tax breaks just not with his endorsement.

i expected a pull back at $15 not $13...im going by closing prices...this stock ran from $9 to $13...its nice, but its really not that big of a deal....especially considering that the long awaited 45v that was supposed to catapult the pps came out and......thats all we got?...

there was still plenty of room for the pps to run...but it fizzled...i do not see this as a time to accumulate....its still a trading stock and too risky to hold....the rise has not been a steady confident rise with investors piling in on inceasing volume...the volume is just ok but theres a whole lot of selling going on daily in between some buying...the action is very choppy...big up and downs throughout the day....its been great for trading but it doesnt shout accumulate to me...its yelling buy then sell...

the only thing left for hydrogen stocks to bank on is Trump and what he will do...if he gives the thumbs up, hydrogen stocks will rock...if he gives the thumbs down, they will drop like a rock...and since its Trump, theres no way of knowing which way he'll go until he says what hes going to do...but the indications i see is that he wont do hydrogen any favors....thus i trade and hold zero shares...

The technicals remain positive. Should it fall below $10 , hold off on any further adds.
$12 still is the benchmark but this pullback should be considered normal after the good run.
The wild card is the lack of fundamentals. All talk of them is still hypothetical and hope.

The standard used metric to gauge a MA is a 200 day MA . The 5 day MA/s tell nothing.

Read the article about Doug Bergman, Just posted in the last 10 or 15 minutes. Supposed to be appointed and accept his role on the 14th. He's all in for carbon capture. All fuel cells are currently reacting to the overall market but they're also reacting to Trump's threat about doing away with some green energy and the IRA. This is a knee jerk reaction to protect gains over the last week And obviously some shorts trying to take advantage of it.

This drop has absolutely nothing to do with fuel cell and is a temporary buying opportunity. In my person with opinion. I strongly suggest doing your own diligence and not buying stock or making investments based on somebody else's opinion, including mine. The facts are all out there just read them. In my opinion we will never see anywhere close to $10 again by spring. In fact we might never get close to $20 again by spring. $30 = $1 pre-split and is only $610M market cap with $300+M cash and $1.2B backlog. Take a look at the link about Doug Bergman. Supposed to be approved on the 14th of January. He's all in on Carbon capture.

It's a nice little cottage industry, week after week after week of robbing us at gunpoint. The rest of the market is soaring. just not the fuel cell businesses. Who hates fool cells enough to keep them hammered flat? jmo. If only the FCC wasn't gutted.

Common practices of locking in profit, up from $8.77 in 1 week lots of traders and some investors likely just locking in profit after 10, 20, 30% profits over the past week. After all, 30% in 1 week is typically very significant. However, a stock like this can easily do better in any given week as proven by the recent gain of over 30% and the 1,400% run from $2-$29 in 3 months from Nov 20 into February 21. Just closed over 200 day MA yesterday and still well above the 100. Market Cap even at $12 is just over $240M with $300+M cash and $1.2B backlog. Beat 7/8 quarters on top of bottom line or both, and Q1+Q2 (March & June) will come close to EBIDTA break even. This is knee jerk reaction and great but opportunity "IN MY OPINION"! Do your own diligence, Don't I vest based on someone you don't knows opinion!

If there no news which I believe this lazy management has nothing to report I expect the stock to go back to single digits. The move is over for now .IMO

It's an "accumulate" on any pullback remaining above $12. Stocks Overbought and stretched a little. So; no surprise if it gives up a little .
Technicals are good. Fundamentals not so good.
Not yet a Buy and if you follow the " trusted" professional analysts,( not the promoters), the Avg Px Target is $10. with still no BUY recommendations in 4 years. These are the researchers that tell the whole story.

Holding over $13 will be a success after seeing activities with the other 3 stocks. Looks to be trying to hold and potentially push back over $13.20

Enthusiasm is beginning to run rampant because of the short run. When put in proper context one should check the down days against the up days over a lengthy period of time to get a true picture of what the 3-4 pop means. It's meager!!!
Secondly, every rare time the stock had a noteworthy bounce like this, its compared to the run it had 4 years ago as if this bounce is the mirror image. I've hears this before and what follows was the truth. That being , the stock gave it all back.
There's only so much the 45V means. When the dust settles, you'll find there's still a mountain of obstacles FCEL must overcome before any of it is reflected in their bottom line.
Short will invariably appear. Profit takers will seize the opportunity and the DILUTION the company has been doing will continue.

Obviously, making $ is the best part of this run, but watching bears and shorts squirm and lose $ is a close second. We will hear the standard "wash rinse repeat", "Time to short", "going back to $1", "Get out now while you can", "Baggies need $500 or $1,000 to break even etc etc! Longs endured a 3 years 10 months decline. If you took some nice profit on the run from $2 to $29.44 and averaged down over the past year, 1-2 months in particular, then your average is nearing. This will run for 5 years with a minor profit episode scattered here & there. Timing those is impossible. This chart is going to begin to look impressive to say the least, within the next 4 months. Trump takes the stage any minute, $20B US investment in Data Centers. Where's the power coming from????????

Fcel is incredibly easy to trade…that’s why I keep an eye on it….when it starts to move, it always shoots up in the first few minutes of trading…like clock work….then it has a big drop and comes back again…

It doesn’t last long but it’s very easy money until it stops….

WOW, Plug is going to be at almost 1/2 daily average volume by 10am and is up 2-3%. The rest all have normal to above average volume, but all are green, with Fuelcell up the highest %!

Trigger happy swinger's day traders and shorts await with approximately a 50% pop from a weeks low and a 140% pop from the recent 52 week low post-split. Keep in mind, still under $.43 pre-split and under $270M market cap with over $300M cash and $1.2B backlog. We hit $10B market cap in early 21 on hype and hope after the election with no factual good information for fuel cells. We just had an announcement related to hundreds of billions of good news for fuel cells. Why not at least 1/2 that $10B, or $250 share price. Bare bones minimum should be $1B or $50. Q1+Q2 will equate close to EBIDTA positive with Q2 better than Q1. By then, you missed 100-300% gains from this level. Of course that's just my opinion, do your own DD and invest accordingly. TICK TOCK!
