                      Announcement Regarding Offer Period

The Board of D1 Oils plc ("D1 Oils" or "the company"), notes the announcement
made by Karl Watkin earlier today stating that he has no present intention of
making an offer for D1 Oils.

D1 Oils remains focused on delivering value through its stated strategy, as set
out at the time of the announcement of its preliminary results on 9 April 2008.
