Besides paying borrowing fees...and paying a 12% dividend for most of the year...Dr. Phil asks..."How's That Workin' For Ya"...???

I don't know why, but I feel just a little bad for all the shortsellers in BBDC...(just a very little)...
Besides the cost of borrowing shares...every 3 months they shell out a hefty dividend...it adds up to $1.04 per share annually...
This company regulary earns more than eough to pay the divvies...they buy back shares when it gets too cheap...The shares are worth $11.28 and the stock trades at $9.20...Why do they do this to themselves...and for so long...???
Oh well...such is life...and it is Their decision to make...
These devils may someday try to cover their positions...but I doubt it would be an easy task...

and also capital gains...stock Should appreciate...

Earnings report due out Aug. 9...

I got a good feeling....the last report was for quarter ending June 30...and that included the horrible month of March with the regional bank issues...

so

maybe we get a decent "mark to market' on holdings...and enuf EPS to cover the dividend...???

If the dividend holds up at this level...well then at $14/shr the yield would still be over 7%...right?

Watch this stock...It is a good dividend yielder...and it is currently undervalued at under $8...As long as they earn enough to support the divvie...I plan on holding this for years...kinda like a high % savings account...
