no they dont,they did an add on for hugo for a sp robot wake up bro.tmdi is done with.they couldnt get the robot to market after 12 yrs,2 rs and almost 300 mill spent.mdt and isrg got what they wanted for chump change.also sp accounts for only 3 % of surgerys.God bless all and good luck 2

Looking at MDT here from technical standpoint ... I told myself months ago that when it got below $100, I was going to start buying MDT. Now it's there, having touched a daily low of $99.21 today 5/9/22. Plenty of technical support in this $98-99 area looking at bounces back on 12/20/21, 10/26/20, and 8/17/20. Yet the current headwinds from ramped-up inflation and long-awaited Fed tightening may hold the upper hand at this point. Surprised at the lack of posts on MDT on this board. I might test the waters tomorrow, but only to start a partial position. Anybody listening?

Find it hard to believe that this dipped in the last few days and again today with the news of the subpoena from an event that happened about 7 years ago and before MDT owned the then company that they purchased in 2015. Like they could have foreseen this Pandemic coming on in 2015. This shall pass and should see the $120 range.

Giga New York to reopen for ventilator production

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) is reopening its solar panel factory in Buffalo, New York "as soon as humanly possible" to produce ventilators that are in short supply due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) is partnering with the EV maker on the project, adding that "open sourcing" one of its lower end ventilators can be an intermediary step in critical care.

According to the NYT, there are about 160,000 ventilators in the U.S. and another 12,700 in the National Strategic Supply.

Seems like this should be the obvious buy of 2020

Tesla confirmed as Medtronic partner in ventilator production.

Just read that Medtronic will launch 2020. Will this company be able to catch up with ISRG? I took some of my retirement fund and bought into Intuitive. With that company having several working approved robots it should be a while before Medtronic can catch them. Stock should definitely go higher.

I’ve got a friend that works in the Robotic Department at Ethicon and it sure sounds like this space is heating up. I’m looking to invest in the top 3 Surgical Robotic Companies. I think this sector has huge up gain potential and is the future of surgery. How soon will Medtronic come into this space?
