I think the judge knew exactly who he was appointing as a receiver, warts and all. The fact that it took over a year to get that receiver terminated despite the fact that all monies were turned over within 3 weeks of the order appointing the receiver is very telling to me. The Judge just sat back and let him have unfettered power despite having a very limited purpose, that of satisfying a foreign judgement. Once monies were tendered to satisfy the judgement, the receivership should have been terminated.

Never forget the receiver and the suffering caused to the company. Self-interest has a cost, and it's often paid by employees, shareholders, and everyone else left to deal with the consequences. Looking back, it's hard not to wish more attention should have been paid to his past before he was put in that position.

Where did you get the information about Datron employees? Seems odd considering they have active government contracts. Unless the business is moving to a new location, like maybe into CYBL's new digs in North Carolina. That would explain not retaining any employees in California. This ship finally seems to be righted, hard to think they would be laying off all Datron employees just as things are getting straightened out. Just curious where you got that information.

All employees at Datron just received an email telling them not to come to work any more, and they won't be paid. Cyberlux's website has a drone from 2017 on it, with a contract that cancelled. They have no new models, and their name is crap in the military community. I've lost 98% of my investment, with no chance of it going higher. If only I could short this stock.

Cyberlux (CYBL) said on Monday that it has emerged from an 18-month period of what it described as "malicious, adversarial litigation" that had weighed heavily on its cash position, revenue recognition, and business execution.
According to the update shared by the defense technology company via X, the legal overhang had forced Cyberlux to operate under court-imposed constraints from late 2024 through mid-2026, limiting access to cash and customer engagement and slowing deliveries.
The company said this pressure was reflected in its financial performance during the period. However, the situation changed in May and June 2026 after two key court decisions.
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia terminated the authority of the Texas turnover receiver on May 11, 2026, while a Texas trial court formally ended the receivership on June 3, 2026.
"The company believes these developments remove restrictions on cash access and operations, allowing it to return to full operating tempo over the next six weeks."

I too am hesitant to put more into this at the time being, but I am getting cautiously optimistic this morning. Looking closer at the newest foreign judgment enforcement case, the case is listed as "Disposed (Final)". There is a 15 page order from 6/16/26 that is not yet accessible but it stands to reason that the Judge disposed of it (at least temporarily). This, to me, was the biggest risk because it meant a successive receivership. IF that case is actually closed, it is HUGE news for us. The only thing holding the company down has been the receivership and without a threat of another one, this thing could really fly. Now, we have both been here long enough to know Mark's games and the PR is usually not nearly as good as he makes it out to be on first blush. BUT, if that legal hurdle is behind us then big things could be in the near future. Cautiously optimistic for the first time since last June.

ghost...I agree with you 99%. And haras is right about the lag in court filings. MDS has screwed long-term shareholders many times over.

Having said that it is very hard to believe that MDS would be that stupid to continue to fight these matters in court, especially if it takes 6-18 months more to resolve.

They might have gotten out of Receivership, but if another receivership is put into place, there won't be any new government contracts, and it will take years to regain new business and trust with vendors, customers, and shareholders.

What we do not know is "where is the $20+ million and when will it disbursed". MDS and legal team should just acquiesce and settle the main lawsuits and take the rest of money for Datron payments and working capital.

It will be interesting what they have to say next week. I have dry powder, but I am not putting any more into this stock until they issue a credible press release.

Fair points. In their favor, I will say court public updates are more often than not lagging by 3-5 business days. They will know before it is updated on a court website.

The post is very promising that good things are to come, but I also want to see some proof. I guess next will bring the truth either way.

At what price?

I am not playing the negative, everything I say is true and can be verified. I literally checked the clerk of court website prior to posting to make sure. For a moment I got excited and thought that something positive happened on one of the many lawsuits, but I couldn't find any proof of that in the Texas cases. I've been here too long to sell at this point. Hoping they can turn it around, but I need real proof not empty promises.

Key legal matters behind them? WTF are they talking about? Has the interpleader case been resolved because I sure haven't heard anything about that. Has the newest enforcement action been stayed or resolved because I don't think it has. Sure the initial receivership was terminated but the Judge literally said in the order that he took judicial notice of the fact that a successive receivership would commence. So what really is behind them? It is these type of fast and loose PR statements that I have grown weary of over the years. If you don't know anything, it all sounds great, but if you are aware of all the warts and know that they haven't been addressed, then it just sounds like a pure fluff peace with nothing concrete behind it. Hope I am wrong because I would love to see a new contract but they said time and again that it wasn't possible while in a receivership and the very order terminating the first one puts everyone on notice that a successive one is coming soon. So yeah, put me in the not impressed category with this PR.

The Harris County ruling defied logic in my opinion and appeared difficult to reconcile with what the Virginia federal court had already determined regarding the limited nature of the receivership and the satisfaction of the original judgment. That said, the appellate courts will ultimately have the final say, and hopefully more sense.

What is becoming clear is that Cyberlux is attacking this from multiple angles. The Virginia appeal challenges the $6 million judgment, while the Texas appeals appear poised to challenge both the scope of the receivership and the massive fee award. If an appellate court eventually determines the receiver's authority was too broad, or that the receivership should have ended once the judgment was satisfied, it could have significant implications for actions taken afterward.

Unfortunately, appellate litigation moves at a glacial pace, so this is likely measured in many months rather than weeks.

It is good to see that they intend on appealing the scope of the receivership as well as the fees associated with it. Honestly, the scope is the biggest issue. While Johnnyt5 is correct that there has not been a formal finding of a new receivership as of yet, that does not mean that we are suffering under the presumption of one. Judge Gomez included the following paragraph in his order terminating the original receivership:

" The Court takes judicial notice that the termination of this receivership will
animate the next serial receivership. Cyberlux will remain under
receivership without interruption pending further orders in that case;"

While that is not an order appointing a receiver, it shows you the Judge's intent. Also keep in mind that the newest enforcement case (the 6 million judgment plus costs) has been transferred to Judge Gomez' division, so he now presides over that case. Cyberlux has yet to file any motions in that case to try to get a stay of the enforcement case despite appealing the judgement in Virginia. As I have said before, Texas is one of a very few states that allows enforcement of foreign judgements while they are still under appeal in the original jurisdictions (it is really rare and odd). That being said, Texas does allow for that case to be STAYED (no action taken upon it) until the appellate process is competed in the original jurisdiction. So there is an avenue to (at lease temporarily) avoid a formal appointment of receivership. As of yesterday (last I checked the case) Cyberlux has NOT filed any motions requesting to STAY the proceedings in the Texas case. I am not sure why they have not, but they have not. In my mind, if they can get that case stayed, they can request an amended final order in the original receivership case that removes the damaging paragraph. If that were to happen, they could demonstrate to our government that the receivership is over and they are not currently under the threat of another one which should allow them to get government contracts. This strategy seems logical to me but as of yet they have not pursued it. So we all wait and see.

Assuming no reverse stock split this could easily hit.05 cents if legal issue are resolved.
