Core Lithium CEO Gareth Manderson will provide an update on our 100% owned Finniss #Lithium Operation and outline our strategy for 2023 and into the future at the Macquarie Group Australia Conference in Sydney on 2 May.

Gareth has overseen the Core business transition from mine developer to Australia’s newest lithium producer. We capped of an outstanding March quarter, including maiden spodumene concentrate production, 63% increase to the global Finniss MRE, first revenue and returned to mining at the Grants pit.

The last two seem to have been extreme. I am tempted to sell too but its a bit too late. Just hoping that NAL and Moblan come up w good and significant news. PFS should be out in April I believe. More than one offtake agreeements should also come due (I hope)…..

Why is the Core Lithium share price falling?
The weakness in the Core Lithium share price may have been driven by a broker note out of Goldman Sachs.

This note was in response to the company’s mineral resource update on Monday, which revealed that it has more than doubled its resource estimate of the Finniss Lithium project from 4.37Mt at 1.53% lithium oxide to 10.1Mt at 1.48% lithium oxide.

While on paper this looks great, Goldman highlights that it isn’t necessarily as good as you might think. It explained

Core has achieved much in the past 12 months, but the work to realise the full
potential of the larger Finniss #Lithium Project is just beginning. Finniss will come online as spodumene prices continue to rise, with credible forecasters predicting a strong price for many years to come.

Our Chief Financial Officer, Simon Iacopetta recently spoke about Australia’s most capital-efficient and lowest-cost spodumene lithium project - Core Lithium's Finniss Lithium Project, located near Darwin, NT.

"The project's low CapEx and competitive OpEx is due to the deposits simple mineralogy and the ability to produce high quality lithium concentrate".

(I will buy 100 shares tomorrow to watch.)
