Go, Inc. (AXCG) has launched a new entertainment segment of
live band karaoke with the implementation of the GANDER.tv
broadcasting system at O'Flanagan's on First Avenue at
65th Street in Manhattan.
Live Band Karaoke is a popular event where people sing
karaoke with a live band in front of an audience. Much like
traditional karaoke, people choose a song from a list of
available songs, sign up, and sing when it is their turn. The
difference is that instead of a pre-recorded background track, the
singers perform with a live backup band.
Because traditional karaoke uses keyboard synthesizers to
approximate the sound of the original track, many people find the
background tracks to sound somewhat 'cheesy.' Live karaoke bands
sound like the real deal. For those who yearn to have that
Rock Star Experience, performing with a live band is like a dream
come true.
CBS Channel 2 in their Best of New
York series named O'Flanagan's as one of the 5 best live
band karaoke bars in NYC stating, "This is a great spot for
