I expect EnterBRAINment will fizzle out. It missed all projected milestones and the Website is dead in the water.

The next runner up for alif is the AI service provider start-up named Cognitive Systems Lab, based in Berlin. That's a good move since Berlin is a hub of AI systems development and a perfect fit for alif. After all, that's the original birth place of alif.

EnterBRAINment Ltd

might be the rebirth of alif. EnterBRAINment develops innovative, consumer entertainment and communication products and Intellectual Property based on state of the art proprietary Alternative Artificial Intelligence (AAI) methods and algorithms together with cutting-edge brain and body signal analysis (BBSA) techniques. The BBSA interface connects the user to entertainment software and communication devices.

EnterBRAINment has already received sufficient funding to begin hiring new talent and start the product design and development phase. The next milestone will be the deployment of the EnterBRAINment Website. No dates have been officially announced.

According to a Distinguished Lecture Series presentation given at the Faculty of Science, the University of Hong Kong on November 2, 2020, it was announced that the startup CEO of EnterBRAINment is the famous AI professor Mr Eberhard Schoeneburg.

Ingo Mesche of Malta has announced that he is Co-founder and CTO of EnterBRAINment Ltd., Hong Kong.

His latest gig might be Enter-Brain-Ment, game development in Berlin and Hong Kong. Don't you wish he would do something more creative with his time before he meets Sir Karma.

Ten years ago the company had operations in Russia which attracted a Russian investor to buy 5.2M shares of alif. Later the company closed that operation and shares plummeted. In 2016 the Rus investor sued. That's the case you refer to. Two years ago the company ceased all operations, all employees left, including the CEO. Story over.

I do not know and I have never ever worked for ALIFe. But I had some connections there. From what I have heared there is a new management at ALIF and surely working on something (but I have not a clue on what). What might be helpful regarding this could be the new positions that are held by Mr. Ebse at PwC's (Hongkong) lead AI Advisor and very hot at AGI & Business Advisor of SingularityNET. Maybe there are some crossovers (so I do not really know as I mentioned it is all pure speculation).

The last one is really interesting because it could be one of the biggest things to come ever and even outperform the Bitcoin hype (if it is succesful). The Token sale of last year was done in a very short time and they collected nearly 40 Mio. US Dollars:

New ALIF investor may take Co. into the cryptocurrency security blockchain technology market. AI proprietary software can be applied to this usage very easily.

New Prospects?

Due to the current state of the Co., I believe the owners may be trying to sell their majority stake to Asian investors. This includes Alife Studios, which has also been closed. This could explain why the Co.'s shares have not been withdrawn from the market.

This appears to affirm that Alife is bankrupt and out of business. Who's going to power down the Alife Web server?

Law360, Wilmington (March 6, 2017, 6:36 PM EST) -- A Delaware Chancery judge found Artificial Life Inc. in contempt Monday for failing to respond to an investor’s books and records demand, and appointed a receiver for the technology investment company that is organized in the First State, but operates in China and Hong Kong.
After a brief hearing in Wilmington during which representatives for Artificial Life did not show up, Vice Chancellor Joseph R. Slights III said he would enter the contempt order and allowed Moscow-based investor and asset manager Arbat Capital to sell its stock for a fair-market value of $4.88 per share if it wished.

Counsel for Arbat declined to comment after the hearing.

Arbat holds about 6.2 million shares of Artificial Life stock, which would yield around $30.3 million for the asset manager if it decided to sell all of its units, according to court records.

The issue stems from a books and records demand Arbat lodged in the Chancery Court a year ago, arguing Artificial Life hadn’t revealed its financial information since 2011.

The suit received no formal response and summonses delivered to Artificial Life’s registered agent were returned with the statement, “representation services were discontinued and all process sent to the last known address was returned as undeliverable.”

No responses from Artificial Life to the books and record demand were found on the Chancery Court docket, and Arbat attorney Stephen B. Brauerman of Bayard PA told Law360 the company had not responded to its request.

An email to Artificial Life sent Monday was not returned.

The issue has become a familiar one in the Chancery and other courts across the country. A company, usually operating in China, incorporates in the United States, holds an initial public offering or a debt offering, and then effectively goes dark, leaving investors with no recourse to recover their money.

Vice Chancellor Slights’ order also awards Arbat its legal fees associated with its contempt motion, but collecting that money may be difficult.

Artificial Life operates in China where there is no direct mechanism to compel compliance with U.S. court orders, but there have been several success stories, such as a case involving China-based ZST Digital Networks Inc. in 2012.

In that case, a special receiver targeted the company through a web of international affiliates that ultimately reached its parent in Hong Kong, which was taken over and ordered remedies for its investors.

The $4.88-per-share fair value of Artificial Life stock comes from a declaration provided by accountant Steven Seiden of The Seiden Group.

According to his declaration, Seiden used a methodology that included historical financial information, comparable companies in the region and sector, and recent media reports to put together an estimate of the company’s value.

Seiden said that Artificial Life’s book value in 2011 was $60.3 million, and said value estimate was a conservative one.

“[Artificial Life] appears to be a viable and active company with significant assets that continues to generate income and boast of its future potential growth,” the declaration states.

Arbat is represented by Stephen B. Brauerman and Sara E. Bussiere of Bayard PA.

Counsel information for Artificial Life was not available.

The case is Arbat Capital Group Ltd. v. Artificial Life Inc., case number 12132, in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Is the company up for sale? If not, I think you should consider a paradigm shift; transfer your operation to India's Bengaluru high tech region and apply your skills to the pharma and medical industries. Costs in India are considerably lower than Hong Kong (or anywhere else) and there is an unlimited supply of computer professionals to draw from. There are all kinds of AI/AR applications for drug discovery and development simulation software. There is also the opportunity to invent patient apps that supplement drug intake regimens and to enhance drug efficacy.

The alif website has finally been updated to show that the CTO, Klaus Kater, no longer works for the co. I don't think anybody works there full-time on alif-related projects.

The insiders have tens of millions of shares they want to unload as quickly as possible. The opportunity for recovery has been squandered leaving the company worthless.

it was told me from ES that there was some pressure on the share at year end. This is because of the new US SEC rules especially for Switzerland banks which had some larger positions in ALIF shares it is no longer allowed to have such positions in their portfolios. But it does not have to do with fundamental data of ALIF. There is enough money to pay the checks as well as for newbies. Anyway there will be updates in the near future but I guess we will be patient a little bit longer and have to wait till something has really materialized to tell. But ALIF is working on it.

I hate when my strategy is based on "hope".

He's going to have to re-invent a new business model very quickly otherwise he is done. Maybe he can discover how to apply ALIF software to recombinant DNA technology to create a vaccine development platform which could expedite the design of non-infectious virus-like particles which can be used against the Ebola virus, HIV, and other nasty viruses. Whatever his new idea he better execute FAST!
