for the first hole drilled at the Company’s Granite Creek Property
(“Granite Creek” or “the Property”) located in Humboldt County, Nevada
has returned high-grade results that confirm the high-grade open pit
opportunity.
Hole iGM21-01, drilled from the bottom of the historic CX-Pit
intersected two zones of mineralization grading
3.17 g/t Au over 7.5 m and
6.80 g/t Au over 51.1 m (see Table 1).
The hole was drilled for metallurgical purposes into the main structure
below the pit (true widths unknown) and returned exceptional grades
that appear to be oxide mineralization based on an average cyanide
soluble to fire assay ratio of 0.94 over both intervals.
The surface drill program targeting open pit mineralization at Granite
Creek is complete (see Figure 2 below) and multiple assays remain
pending.
The drill program was focused on intersecting material to be used for
metallurgical and geotechnical purposes in advance of initiating
permitting for an open pit mine and on-site processing.

(“i-80”, or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that assay results
for the first hole drilled at the Company’s Granite Creek Property
(“Granite Creek” or “the Property”) located in Humboldt County, Nevada
has returned high-grade results that confirm the high-grade open pit
opportunity.
Hole iGM21-01, drilled from the bottom of the historic CX-Pit
intersected two zones of mineralization grading
3.17 g/t Au over 7.5 m and
6.80 g/t Au over 51.1 m (see Table 1).
The hole was drilled for metallurgical purposes into the main structure
below the pit (true widths unknown) and returned exceptional grades
that appear to be oxide mineralization based on an average cyanide
soluble to fire assay ratio of 0.94 over both intervals.
The surface drill program targeting open pit mineralization at Granite
Creek is complete (see Figure 2 below) and multiple assays remain
pending.
The drill program was focused on intersecting material to be used for
metallurgical and geotechnical purposes in advance of initiating
permitting for an open pit mine and on-site processing.

Japan Gold Corp. (JG) has received initial results from its drill program at the Ryuo Prospect, located within the Ikutahara Project in Japan.
The Ryuo Prospect hosts five areas of workings along an open trend of alteration and mineralization.
Japan Gold drilled three scout holes totalling 828.3 metres between May and July 2021. Highlights from the scout holes include 12.1 g/t gold over 4.9 metres, including 125.0 g/t gold over 0.25 metres.
Andrew Rowe, Japan Gold’s VP of Exploration, commented on the results.
“The initial drill holes at Ryuo have confirmed wide, high-grade vein mineralization is continuous below the historical workings closed in 1943,” he said. “The Ryuo prospect has never been drilled and these initial results provide strong encouragement to continue drilling at Ryuo, and the other similarly under-explored Ikutahara prospects.”
On September 6, the company recommenced drilling to test the lateral strike extensions of the drill intercept at the Jinja Vein. A second drill rig is targeting a vertical anomaly that lies below the Taisei workings.
The company plans to complete up to five additional drill holes at the Ryuo Prospect by the end of November.
Japan Gold Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused solely on gold exploration across the three largest islands of Japan: Hokkaido, Honshu and Kyushu.

$SOUTH ARTURO GOLD MINE: Located along the northern section of the
productive Carlin Trend,
i-80 holds a 40% interest in the South Arturo Property in partnership with
Nevada Gold Mines, a joint venture between Barrick Gold Corporation and
Newmont Corporation, that owns the remaining 60% interest.
$The South Arturo Mine in Nevada is a joint venture, operated by Nevada Gold Mines LLC, with Barrick Gold Corporation (“Barrick”).
Several opportunities exist on the property including the recently
developed El Nino underground mine.

underground mine at its Pumpkin Hollow project (the “Underground
Project”).

Performance Highlights
First Stopes to Be Mined
The first stope will be mined in the East South Alphabets zone this week.
$The Alphabets zone is expected to carry copper equivalent grade of
approximately 2.5%.
Ventilation Expansion
The electrical upgrades have been completed and the fan bulkhead is in
the final stages of construction for installation of the remaining
underground ventilation fans.
Two additional underground ventilation fans, as previously announced,
are on schedule for installation in May, which should enable further
increases in underground development rates.
The surface ventilation fans remain on schedule for installation in the
third quarter of 2021.
Lateral Development
Lateral development in March increased 69% from February after the
previously announced electrical upgrades were completed.
Lateral development early in the first quarter 2021 was slower than
anticipated due to cautious progress through a water bearing dike.
Progress continues with penetration through the dike.
$Continuing to Increase Mill Throughput Rates
While we are still batch processing ore through the mill, we achieved a
weekly average of 4,700 tons per day (“tpd”) and maximum daily milling
throughput of 5,000 tpd during March.
Concentrate grade continues to be achieved that comply with off-take
specifications.
Concentrate grade has continued to rise, with an average grade of 26%
achieved in March compared to 24% during January and February.
The Company is on schedule to reach steady-state production of
approximately 5,000 tpd in the third quarter of 2021.
“We are pleased with the progress achieved in Q1 despite the challenges
with lateral development and we look forward to the imminent blasting
of our first high grade stopes,” stated Mike Ciricillo, Chief Executive
Officer of Nevada Copper.
“As well as advancing our stope development, we look forward to further
increases in underground development rates as we move closer to steady-
state production in Q3 this year.”

includes the high-grade El Nino underground mine, which is in

Work completed in 2020 included a successful expansion drill program at
El Nino as well as work targeting the advancement of two additional
development opportunities on the property; the Phase 1 open pit and the
Phase 3 project.
El Nino
The 3,800 metre drill campaign completed in 2020 from underground drilling stations demonstrated the ability to extend mine life at depth with numerous high grade intercepts (previously released) including 26.76 g/t Au across 18.3 m, 17.11 g/t Au across 39.6 m and 5.73 g/t Au across 100.6 m. Additional highlight results from new results received from the 2020 program are provided below. Following up on the success of this drill program, more than 8,000 meters of exploration drilling are planned in 2021 focused on extending mineralization further down dip at the Lower El Nino and Cloud Nine targets.
Highlight assay results for previously unreleased intercepts from the 2020 drill program include:
19.8 m of 12.20 g/t Au (SEC20012)
29.0 m of 6.20 g/t Au (SEC20014)
25.9 m of 14.05 g/t Au (SEC20015)
Development of a ramp to access the deeper mineralization is under way and is expected to be completed in Q1 2023. Production of orebodies accessed from the ramp is expected to begin in Q2 2022.
Phase 1
More than 3,500 metres of drilling was completed on the near surface portion of the planned Phase 1 open pit to increase confidence in the ore reserves and upgrade mineral resources. This drilling returned higher than expected grade-thicknesses and Barrick has moved heap leach material from Phase 1 into their year-end 2020 mineral reserves. In 2021, the joint venture plans to complete further metallurgical work in advance of mine construction.
Phase 3
2020 drilling completed in the Phase 3 project area also returned favorable results and the joint venture partners have commenced trade-off studies to optimize the economics of the project as an underground versus open pit project, or a combination scenario. Initial work on the underground option has been encouraging and 3,500 metres of exploration drilling is planned to test the Hendrix target located between the El Nino and Phase 3 deposits.
“El Nino continues to deliver excellent results as demonstrated by the latest intercepts of our 2020 drill campaign. Japan Gold Reports Results of Scout Drilling at Ohra-Takamine
Epithermal Gold Project in Southern Kyushu

Japan Gold Corp. (the "Company") (TSXV: JG) (OTCQB: JGLDF) is pleased
to announce the results of the three scout drill holes completed at its
Ohra-Takamine Project in southern Kyushu.
Drilling encountered narrow high-grade gold vein intercepts below the
Urushi Mine, and multiple gold-anomalous sheeted quartz vein zones
below the Ohra Mine workings.
Ohra-Takamine Central Mine Corridor Scout Drill Program
Three scout holes were drilled (total 1624.0 metres (m)) along the central 3.5 kilometres (km) corridor of alteration and epithermal-gold mineralization defined by the Ohra, Takamine and Urushi historic mines, (Figure 1). Production records prior to the government-imposed closure of these mines in 1943, include high-grade vein shoots with grades greater than 20 g/t gold at the Ohra Mine, and between 50 to 100 g/t1 at the Urushi Mine, (Figure 2). Drilling targeted below these high-grade shoots, which lie coincident with surface soil geochemical anomalies (Figure 3) and CSAMT geophysical anomalies (Figure 4).
Drilling Results
Drillhole OTDD20-001, targeting the down dip extension of the Urushi Mine workings, intersected 7 narrow, gold-anomalous quartz veins (Figure 5) including highlight intercepts of:
0.35 m @ 21.7 g/t Au & 13 g/t Ag from 233.95 m
4.15 m @ 1.6 g/t Au & 2.4 g/t Ag from 222.6 m
(inc. 0.55 m @ 3.5 g/t Au & 4.5 g/t Ag from 225.7 m)
(and. 0.25 m @ 6.5 g/t Au & 7.5 g/t Ag from 226.0 m)
1.2 m @ 1.5g/t Au & 31 g/t Ag from 114. 4m
(inc. 0.4 m @ 3.2 g/t Au & 84 g/t Ag from 115.2 m)
Drill hole OTDD19-001, drilled from the north side of the Ohra Mine, intersected a 4.5 m wide (down-hole width) quartz vein from 227 m down hole. A 0.35 m wide portion of the vein returned 1.7 g/t Au and 5.0 g/t Ag.
Drillhole OTDD20-002, targeting beneath the Ohra Mine workings (Figure 6) intersected numerous broad intervals of intense alteration and quartz veining from a downhole depth of 206 m to end of hole (584 m). These zones range from 4 to 40 m in downhole length.

Urushi Mine
The mineralization intersected in the upper half of drill hole OTDD20-001, is separate and parallel to the veins mined in the Urushi workings, Figure 5. The up-dip extension of these veins is untested at the elevation of the Urushi Mine workings and may represent en echelon (parallel) repetitions of the high-grade veins mined at Urushi. The mineralized veins intersected below 326.9 m downhole appear to represent the down dip extension of vein structures mined historically in the Urushi workings.
Within the mine alteration corridor, 8 drill holes were completed as part of government funded geological survey work by the Metal Mining Agency of Japan (MMAJ) during the 1980's. Two drill holes located north of the Urushi Mine encountered narrow high-grade mineralization and indicate the potential for mineralized extensions along the north side of the mine workings, refer to Figure 5. The other MMAJ drill holes failed to reach the interpreted depth projection of the Ohra-Takamine vein system hence did not encounter significant mineralization.
Ohra Mine
Drill hole OTDD20-002 targeted the depth extent of three, wide, banded epithermal veins mined from surface over a ~140 m vertical extension at the Ohra Mine. Surface outcrops of the three Ohra veins are up to 4.6 m wide and vary in width between 0.3 and 8 m underground2, (Figure 2 & 6). Eight discrete zones of intense sheeted to stockwork veining were intersected, varying in downhole length between 4 and 40 m. These zones contain numerous banded and single-phase, fine-grained quartz and quartz-carbonate veins and veinlets up to 30 centimetres (cm) wide.
The five vein zones intersected between 228 and 360 m, immediately below the Ohra workings contain anomalously elevated gold values and are interpreted to represent the feeder structures to the Ohra veins mined in historical workings. Three vein network zones intersected deeper in the drill hole, between 420 to 523 m, could represent the feeder system to a separate, parallel vein system, (Figure 6). The lower three vein zones show limited exposure at surface, ~250 m above, but their surface expression is characterised by strong, pervasive clay alteration and elevated gold and pathfinder element geochemistry in soils. Sinter sub-crops, and coincident CSAMT, soil and alteration anomalism are traceable along the mine corridor for 1.5 km from the Ohra Mine towards the Takamine Mine representing the strike extension the Ohra Mine veins.
Conclusions and Next Steps
Information gained from these scout drill holes has been assessed along with coincident anomalies of CSAMT, soil geochemistry, alteration and geological mapping. These results have defined a series of un-tested targets that lie both along strike of, and parallel to the historic mines. The combined strike length of these more coherent geophysical-geochemical-alteration anomalies represents a series of priority drill target areas with a cumulative strike length of over 5 km, (Figures 1, 3 & 4). A separate, coincident soil geochemical - alteration anomaly extends the Ohra alteration system another 2.5 km along strike to the northeast. Geophysical surveys are planned to further define this large anomaly, (Figure 3).
The discovery of new vein zones with limited or weak surface outcrop in the vicinity of the Urushi Mine as well as between the Ohra and Takamine Mines, gives encouragement for the exploration potential both along the trend and below cover further along strike to the southwest, where coincident soil and CSAMT anomalies are partly concealed by younger post-mineral geology.
The Company has 11 additional drill pad locations permitted for drilling along the central mine corridor. With the definition of these new target zones, further drill pads will be permitted to properly test and advance the Ohra-Takamine Project.

Sampling Techniques and Assaying
The drilling results discussed in this news release are from drill core samples obtained by PQ, HQ and NQ-size triple-tube diamond core drilling using a Longyear 38, and PMC700 man-portable drill rigs owned and operated by the Company. The drilling program was fully supervised by Company senior geologists at the drilling site.
Drill core was collected in plastic core-trays at the drill site and transported by road in Company vehicles to its core shed storage facility in the nearby Urushi Village, located centrally within the project area. The drill core was carefully logged, photographed and sample intervals marked-up along predicted mineralized and selected unmineralized intervals by Japan Gold KK senior project geologists.
Sample lengths varied from 0.2 to 1.0 m; depending on the positions of geological contacts and variations in vein texture and composition. The core was split by diamond rock saw supervised by project geologists. Half-core sample was collected from the entire length of each designated sample interval and placed into individual-labelled, self-sealing calico bags for secure packaging and transport to the laboratory. The half-core samples weighed between 1 to 8 kg depending on the sample length and core size. A Chain-of-Custody was established between the Company and receiving laboratory to ensure the integrity of the samples during transportation from site to the lab. The samples were sent in batches to ALS Laboratories in Vancouver, Canada for sample preparation and assaying.
Samples were crushed, pulverised and assayed for gold 50 g charge Fire Assay/ AAS Finish (Au-AA24; 0.005 ppm lower detection limit) and a 48 multi-element by 4-acid digest with ICP-MS determination (ME-MS61L; Ag 0.002 ppm lower detection limit).
Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) were inserted by Japan Gold KK at every 20th sample to assess repeatability and assaying precision of the laboratory. In addition, the laboratory applied its own internal Quality Control procedure that includes sample duplicates, blanks & geochemical standards. They report these results with the certified Assay Report. Laboratory procedures and QAQC protocols adopted are considered appropriate. The CRMs and internal QC-QA results fall within acceptable levels of accuracy & precision and are considered to lack any bias.

Japan Gold Further Expands Barrick Alliance Projects in Southern Kyushu Following Positive Work Program Results

(TSXV: JG) (OTCQB: JGLDF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce acceptance by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry ("METI") of 18 new prospecting rights applications covering extensions to the Barrick Alliance, Mizobe and Onoyama-Yamagano Projects in the Hokusatsu Region of the Southern Kyushu Epithermal Gold Province.
Highlights:
The Hokusatsu Region of Southern Kyushu is Japan's largest gold producing area with low-sulphidation epithermal deposits recording a combined production of over 11 million ounces.
The 18 new prospecting rights applications accepted by METI bring the Company's total coverage in the Hokusatsu Region to a total of 100,452.8 hectares, approximately 84% of prospective and explorable ground within the region, Figure 1.
Epithermal vein deposits in the Hokusatsu Region are generally hosted on the western margins of gravity anomalies which form the basis for the new prospecting rights applications.
The Onoyama-Yamagano Project is located along the prospective Hokusatsu volcanic front, north of the Company's Ohra-Takamine Project and the Barrick Alliance Mizobe-Onoyama Project, and west of the historic Yamagano Gold Mine which produced in excess of 910,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 17.4g/t1
9 new applications on the western side of the Onoyama-Yamagano Project were lodged to cover the western flank of a gravity-high feature which has been further defined by the Barrick Alliance project scale geophysical surveys, Figure 2.
The Mizobe Project, which now incorporates the Mizobe 1st Extension Project, is located in the southeast corner of the Hokusatsu Region and covers an area of gold-antimony anomalism associated with an extensive gravity-high feature that runs through the Mizobe Project and into the northeast part of the Ohra-Takamine Project.
The 9 new Mizobe West Extension applications were similarly positioned to cover the southwest flanks of the gravity anomaly which coincident with highly anomalous quartz veins, breccia, and sinter floats sampled in drainages on the western side of the Mizobe Project and the southwest portion of the Mizobe-Onoyama Project, Figure 3.
The Company's portfolio now comprises of 202,926.2 hectares (2029.26 square kilometers) of prospective ground across Japan's 5 major epithermal gold provinces within the three main islands of Kyushu, Honshu and Hokkaido
Hokusatsu Region, Southern Kyushu Epithermal Gold Province
The Hokusatsu Region lies within the northern half of the Southern Kyushu Epithermal Gold Province and covers an area of approximately 120,000 hectares. Hokusatsu is Japan's largest gold producing region with low-sulphidation epithermal deposits recording a combined production in excess of 11 million ounces1,2,3.
Gold mineralization in the Hokusatsu Region is localised along an 80-kilometer long, arcuate, northeast to northerly trending volcanic front west of the Kagoshima graben, and bound by the Kushikino Mine in the west and the Fuke Mine in the north. Low-sulphidation epithermal deposits in the region are characterised by distinctive Bouguer gravity-high anomalies and gradients related to doming of the underlying Cretaceous basement. The Company has utilised this key feature, among others, to expand its comprehensive coverage over the highly prospective Hokusatsu Region.
Onoyama-Yamagano Project
The Onoyama-Yamagano Project is located along the Hokusatsu volcanic front north of the Company's Ohra-Takamine and Barrick Alliance Mizobe-Onoyama Projects, and south of the historic Yamagano Gold Mine which produced in excess of 910,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 17.4g/t1, Figure 1. The Yamagano vein system straddles a significant gravity-high feature and has an approximately 400 year history of underground mining. Project scale gravity surveying completed by the Barrick Alliance has defined an area of gravity anomalism approximately 5 kilometers west of the Yamagano Mine, Figure 2. The newly defined gravity anomaly is covered by volcanic rocks which are younger than the host rocks of the Yamagano veins and may therefore cover mineralization related to the gravity feature. The 9 new applications were positioned to fully cover the western flank of this gravity feature as epithermal vein deposits in the region are generally hosted on the western margins of gravity anomalies. With the inclusion of the 9 new applications the Onoyama-Yamagano Project now comprises a total 12,049.4 hectares.
Mizobe Project
The Mizobe Project which collectively includes the Mizobe, Mizobe 1st Extension applications, and the 9 newly accepted Mizobe West 2nd Extension applications now comprises a total area of 7,579.5 hectares. The Mizobe Project is located in the southeast corner of the Hokusatsu Region covering an area of gold and antimony anomalism associated with an extensive gravity-high feature that runs northwest through the Mizobe Project and into the northeast of the Ohra-Takamine Project, Figure 1 & 3. In the eastern part of the Mizobe Project historic mining activities were focused on antimony mineralization at the Semari and Chuzono Mines. Barrick Alliance results reported in a Company news release dated September 30, 2020 discussed strong gold anomalism associated with antimony bearing breccias and banded quartz veins in drainages across the project, indicating exposure of the upper portions of a potentially extensive epithermal system.
Project scale gravity surveying by the Barrick Alliance has further defined the shape of the extensive gravity feature that runs through the Mizobe and in the Mizobe-Onoyama Projects. Gold and pathfinder element anomalous rock float including sinter sampled in drainages on the west of Mizobe, and the southwest the Mizobe-Onoyama Project indicated the need to expand coverage over the southwestern margins of this gravity feature. This has now been achieved with the acceptance of these 9 new applications.
As the Barrick Alliance programs advance, we will continue to expand the portfolio based on the identification of key prospectivity indicators throughout the gold provinces of Japan.
