Columbia Seligman Premium Technology Growth Fund Announces a Second Quarter Distribution: 9.25% Annual Rate for IPO InvestorsMay 8, 2026 10:15 AM
Business Wire Today, Columbia Seligman Premium Technology Growth Fund, Inc. (NYSE: STK) (the Fund) declared a second-quarter distribution, pursuant to its managed distribution policy, in the amount of $0.4625 per share, which is equal to a quarterly rate of 2.3125% (9.25% annualized) of the $20.00 offering price in the Fund’s initial public offering in November 2009. The first-quarter distribution of $0.4625 per share is equal to a quarterly rate of 0.946% (3.78% annualized) of the Fund’s market price of $48.89 per share as of April 30, 2026. The distribution will be paid on May 26, 2026 (the Payment Date) to Stockholders of record on May 18, 2026. The ex-dividend date is May 18, 2026. It is anticipated that the Fund will make a subsequent distribution under its managed distribution policy in the month of August. Prior to the managed distribution policy, the Fund paid distributions pursuant to a level rate distribution policy. Under its former distribution policy and consistent with the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, the Fund could not distribute long-term capital gains more often than once in any one taxable year. In October 2010, the Fund received exemptive relief from the Securities and Exchange Commission that permits the Fund to make periodic distributions of long-term capital gains more often than once in any one taxable year. After consideration by the Fund’s Board, the Fund adopted the current managed distribution policy which allows the Fund to make distributions of long-term capital gains more than once in any taxable year. The Board of Directors (the Board) of Columbia Seligman Premium Technology Growth Fund, Inc. (the Fund) (NYSE: STK) today announced that the Fund’s 16th Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on June 16, 2026 (the Meeting) in Minneapolis, MN. The close of business on April 21, 2026 has been fixed by the Fund’s Board as the record date for the determination of Stockholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the Meeting or any postponement or adjournment thereof.


At the Meeting, Stockholders will be asked to elect four directors, Messrs. Brian J. Gallagher and Ryan C. Larrenaga and Mses. Nancy T. Lukitsh and Catherine James Paglia, to the Board, each to hold office until the 2029 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, and all until their successors are elected and qualify; to consider the ratification of the Board’s selection of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Fund’s independent registered public accounting firm for the 2026 fiscal year; and to consider such other matters as may properly come before the Meeting or any postponement or adjournment thereof. Today, Columbia Seligman Premium Technology Growth Fund, Inc. (NYSE: STK) (the Fund) declared a first-quarter distribution, pursuant to its managed distribution policy, in the amount of $0.4625 per share, which is equal to a quarterly rate of 2.3125% (9.25% annualized) of the $20.00 offering price in the Fund’s initial public offering in November 2009. The first-quarter distribution of $0.4625 per share is equal to a quarterly rate of 1.1577% (4.63% annualized) of the Fund’s market price of $39.95 per share as of January 31, 2026.


The distribution will be paid on February 24, 2026 (the Payment Date) to Stockholders of record on February 17, 2026. The ex-dividend date is February 17, 2026. It is anticipated that the Fund will make a subsequent distribution under its managed distribution policy in the month of May.
